Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced Monday morning on Twitter that He will be signing a law today to defended medical freedom.
The law will prohibit businesses in Texas from requiring vaccine passports or vaccine information.
Abbott also notes that Texas is 100% open without any restrictions or limitations.

Let freedom ring!
ABC25 has more on the developing story:
According to the signed executive order – a resident’s COVID-19 vaccination status is private health information and the constitution does not allow the federal government to mandate vaccine passports nationwide.
The announcement via Twitter was in response to questions about whether the Carnival Cruise Line setting sail from Galveston will be allowed to require passengers to show proof of vaccination.
The cruise line’s policy requires guests to be fully vaccinated per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
“Texas is open 100% without any restrictions or limitations or requirements,” said Abbott.
Governor Abbott’s announcement comes after the Carnival Cruise Line announced they required passengers to be vaccinated.
Houston Chronicle has more on the Cruise Line’s reaction:
Abbott’s announcement came after Carnival Cruise Line confirmed plans on Monday to resume operations in Galveston next month. The cruise line said it would require passengers to show proof of vaccination, based on requirements from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“The current CDC requirements for cruising with a guest base that is unvaccinated will make it very difficult to deliver the experience our guests expect, especially given the large number of families with younger children who sail with us,” said Christine Duffy, the president of Carnival Cruise Line, in a release.
“As a result, our alternative is to operate our ships from the U.S. during the month of July with vaccinated guests.”
The cruise line is based in Florida, where GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis has similarly barred businesses from mandating that consumers certify their vaccine status.
It is unclear how the cruise industry will be impacted by the state laws, as the businesses operate across multiple states and in international waters. The issue may be settled in court.
Governor Greg Abbott has already taken a stance that vaccines are voluntary and never forced.
When Abbott signed the executive order banning vaccine passports in April, He said that the Government should not require any Texan to show private information to go about their daily lives.
We have a clip from YouTube below with his statement about vaccine passports back in April:
It’s no surprise President Trump recently endorsed Governor Abbott for re-election, saying Abbott “will never let you down.”

It’s great to see medical freedom defended by states such as Florida and Texas.
Patriots are most definitely WINNING!
Now, more states need to jump on the freedom train!
It makes me a little hopeful that Florida and Texas are fighting back the left agenda of CRT, Vaccine passports and more. However it will take a lot more states to follow and give courage to the many who are afraid of liberal retaliation.
