After Everything That Has Happened Biden Is STILL “Confident” In Fauci

Is it me, or is the world getting more insane?

Does Biden even know where he is, or what is going on?

Sources are saying that Biden STILL supports Fauci even after the emails came out. You know, the thousands of emails that implicated him in gain of function research funding?

Yeah, those emails.

Never mind that this guy is pretty much the god father of the pandemic, because good old Joe still has “confidence” in the guy……unbelievable.

People want to fire Fauci, and I’m totally on board, but maybe we need to fire Biden while we are at it.

The Epoch Times had more on the latest “gaffe,” if you want to call it that:

President Joe Biden on Friday says he remains supportive of Dr. Anthony Fauci in the wake of thousands of Fauci’s emails being released.

“Yes, I’m very confident in Dr. Fauci,” Biden told reporters at the Rehoboth Convention Center in Delaware in response to a shouted question.

Biden’s public backing comes as a growing number of Republicans call for Fauci’s resignation, asserting the emails show questionable activity by the longtime head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

“Anthony Fauci’s recently released emails and investigative reporting about #COVID19 origins are shocking. The time has come for Fauci to resign and for a full congressional investigation into the origins of #COVID19 – and into any and all efforts to prevent a full accounting,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) said in a statement on Friday morning.

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) also said he believes Fauci should be terminated.

The Hill pointed out the staunch defense of Fauci by Psaki and The White House:

Biden has ordered the intelligence community to further study the origins of the virus and submit a report within 90 days laying out the evidence for whether it spread naturally or came from a lab, though it may have been accidentally transmitted.

The White House on Thursday, asked about the recently published emails, praised Fauci for his work on the pandemic response.

“The president and the administration feel that Dr. Fauci has played an incredible role in getting the pandemic under control, being a voice to the public throughout the course of this pandemic,” press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters. “And, again, I would reiterate a lot of these emails are from 17 months ago or more, certainly predating this administration, but some time ago in — as we look to history.”
