For many Americans, Sunday is a day of rest and reflection. For Rand Paul, it’s as good a day as any to trigger every open nerve-ending of the radical Left.
During a radio interview, Senator Rand Paul went into the realm of progressive taboo. He dared to think independently based on science and act accordingly. The NY Post has more.
Sen. Rand Paul said he won’t get the COVID-19 vaccine because he has already had the coronavirus and believes he now has “natural immunity.”
Paul (R-Ky.), one of the first senators to test positive for the virus last March, told John Catsimatidis on his WABC 770 AM radio show that it’s a personal decision to opt-out of the vaccine.
Of course, Liberal elites came out of the Twitterverse to call out this heinous behavior.
Here’s a tweet from Meg, who self-identifies as a deflating fat suit. She wants you to know that Rand Paul is a very dumb man.
Did he graduate at the bottom of his class? Clearly he slept through the infectious disease classes

Unfortunately, like Meg’s health choices, her understanding of Rand’s intellectual prowess is misinformed. It turns out Rand got a medical degree from a little-known school called Duke University.
Here, fixed it for you.

I love this tweet from F1-Fan. He throws shade on Rand’s choice regarding something called “the Vitus” stating it could do him in.
The vitus may have the last word on Paul’s theory and it may not be pretty for him.

Liberals don’t need to have proper grammar or spelling; they have feelings and lousy science on their side.
Unlike liberals, facts matter to independents like Rand Paul. Rand doesn’t see a need for already infected people to get the jab based on the data.
An ophthalmologist, Paul said unless he sees evidence proving that the vaccine is more effective than having survived the virus, he won’t be getting the shot.
“Until they show me evidence that people who have already had the infection are dying in large numbers, or being hospitalized or getting very sick, I just made my own personal decision that I’m not getting vaccinated because I’ve already had the disease and I have natural immunity,” Paul said in the interview that aired Sunday.
Senator Paul has gone toe to toe with Anthony Fauci regarding everything from masks, social distancing, and vaccines. Based on this footage from Rumble, it looks like Fauci doesn’t have answers for Paul’s legitimate questions.
For conservatives, we understand that this isn’t about the vaccine. Not really.
These battles are popping up because true Americans realize that if gone unchecked, the government will continue to take personal liberty away until there is nothing left.
Paul’s defense of his vaccine position reflects that understanding.
“In a free country, you would think people would honor the idea that each individual would get to make the medical decision, that it wouldn’t be a big brother coming to tell me what I have to do,” Paul said.
“Are they also going to tell me I can’t have a cheeseburger for lunch? Are they going to tell me that I have to eat carrots only and cut my calories?” Paul added. “All that would probably be good for me, but I don’t think big brother ought to tell me to do it.”
There are many on Twitter blasting sentiments like these as extreme, ridiculous, and alarmist. However, based on what we’ve seen from the Left in 2021, this may not be extreme at all.
I’m proud of politicians like Rand Paul that are willing to drop intellectual truth grenades on the Left to keep them on their toes.
