Video Shows Man Destroying BLM Autonomous Zone With Axe

Minneapolis’ Autonomous Zone was caught off guard in a late night visit from a man who was wielding an axe.

George Floyd Square also known asĀ  Minneapolis’ Autonomous Zone is the intersection where George Floyd was killed and has since been taken over by BLM who claim it’s a cop free zone.

The area mostly consist of barricades and almost looks more like a homeless encampment then a memorial of any kind.

While the city of Minneapolis refuses to do anything about the makeshift checkpoints and the barricades that surround the intersection, one man has had enough and tried to take down part of the autonomous zone himself.

A video floating around the web shows a man wielding an axe and swinging at a little shed that was built in the autonomous zone.

The unidentified man also knocked down several barricades and tore down posters too.

Check out the moment it happened here:

The Washington Examiner covered the story, check out what they had to share:

A man in Minneapolis was seen on video over the weekend trashing a roadblock that memorialized George Floyd and chopping structures with a hatchet.

The individual, who has not been identified, pulled up to the display in his pickup truck before throwing signs to the ground, according to footage obtained by the Star Tribune. He later returned to his vehicle, grabbed a hatchet, and bashed into what appeared to be a small shed at around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning.

“This was particularly upsetting that this would happen after the historic trial and the upcoming memorial,” said LaToya Evans, a spokeswoman for a nonprofit group that is organizing a memorial for Floyd.

Another activist said, “The memorial wasn’t destroyed. We were watching. If you notice, our video was tracking him. … Listen, we’re still here. We’re still holding it down. No justice, no street.”

The New York Post covered the story too:

An ax-wielding vandal was caught on camera leaving a trail of destruction at a George Floyd memorial in Minneapolis over the weekend.

The man targeted an entrance to George Floyd Square ā€” an autonomous zone set up at the intersection where Floyd was killed by police in May 2020.

Video posted to Instagram by an account linked to the memorial captured the mayhem, which ends with the vandal scurrying away after witnesses spotted him.

The man can be seen pulling up to the site in a pickup truck before getting out and ripping down several large signs, including one that read ā€œBLMā€ ā€” an acronym for Black Lives Matter.

Soon after tossing a table over, the man grabs an ax from his truck and starts whacking away at a wooden shed, which remains intact, the video shows.

He then goes inside the structure, tossing chairs and other objects from it into the street.

If the city continues to let Minneapolis to be taken over by radical anarchists expect more citizens to do the same as this man.
