This is sickening to see.
Do you remember in the news cycle awhile back there was a viral video of a pastor calling the police Nazi’s after they raided his church because of “COVID-19 violations”.
Well that Pastor was Artur Pawloski of Alberta, Canada and now he has been arrested for violating public health orders after he held a church service without wearing masks.
The way he was arrested was even more horrific and a video shows the police arrested Pastor Pawloski right in the middle of of a wet highway after they received a warrant for his arrest.

I can’t believe this is happening. Pastor Pawlowski lived under the communist regime in Poland in his youth. Today he is being arrested by a sanitary fascist regime in Canada and Alberta for holding a service. SHAME! pic.twitter.com/TbG2OpSdSe

The Calgary Herald had more on the story:
Calgary police have arrested street preacher Artur Pawlowski after he failed to abide by public health orders again during a Saturday church service during which dozens were congregating without masks, with no regard for physical distancing.
His brother, Dawid Pawlowski, was also taken into custody.
Both have been charged with organizing an illegal in-person gathering, in addition to “requesting, inciting or inviting others” to join them, said the Calgary Police Service in a statement.
“It is important to understand that law enforcement recognizes people’s desire to participate in faith-based gatherings as well as the right to protest. However, as we find ourselves in the midst of a global pandemic, we all must comply with public health orders in order to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing,” the police service said.
Alberta Health Services obtained a Court of Queen’s Bench Order on Thursday, which imposed additional restrictions on organizers of protests or demonstrations requiring compliance with COVID-19 safety measures, such as masking and attendance limits.
They hunted him down like he’s a terrorist.
Police cars swarmed him as he drove home from his church.
They ordered him out of his car and made him kneel down on a busy highway.

All Pastor Pawlowski did was just worship freely in the house of God and now he’s being arrested for it.
Earlier this afternoon, my fellow pastor Artur Pawlowski was arrested in Calgary for the crime of holding a church service, as he does every Saturday morning. Are you awake yet?#standwithGod #freepastorartur pic.twitter.com/UtqwjPzqDc

CBC had more on the shocking story:
Calgary police have arrested two organizers of a church service who have been defying public health restrictions throughout the pandemic.
On Saturday, Artur and Dawid Pawlowski were charged with organizing an illegal in-person gathering, inciting or inviting others to attend an illegal gathering, as well as promoting and attending the gathering.
Earlier this week, Alberta Health Services obtained a Court of Queen’s Bench Order that applied to gatherings such as protests, demonstrations and rallies.
Calgary police said they proactively served the church organizers with the order to ensure citizens attending service on Saturday were abiding by public health orders.
In a release, police said the Pawlowskis “acknowledged the injunction, but chose to ignore requirements for social distancing, mask wearing and reduced capacity limits for attendees” and went ahead with the event.
We read about the persecution of Christians in the Middle East all the time but now we can read about it in our own backyard.
What a shame!
Pray for Pastor Pawlowski that he may be uplifted during his time of persecution.
