President Trump Makes Massive 2024 Announcement, Names Likely Running Mate On Fox

President Trump gave us an idea of how things could turn out to be in 2024 on his latest interview.

In his most recent interview with fox business, President Trump said he would certainly consider tapping Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as his running mate should he make a comeback presidential bid in 2024.

“A lot of people love that ticket” he added.

I certainly know I will.

Gov. DeSantis exemplary leadership in his handling of the Chinesevirus pandemic, as well as his ongoing legislative battle against big tech censorship and anti-riot activities makes him and ideal candidate.

The Daily Caller had the full story, and had this to say:

Former President Donald Trump said he would “certainly” consider tapping Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as his 2024 running mate during a Thursday morning interview with Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo.

Well, he’s a friend of mine. I endorsed Ron. And after I endorsed him, he took off like a rocket ship,” Trump told Bartiromo when asked if he would consider the Florida governor as his running mate in a 2024 bid for the presidency. “He’s done a great job as governor.”

DeSantis has been floated as a potential 2024 candidate for the Republican nomination, drawing significant attention for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as legislative priorities including anti-riot and tech censorship bills. DeSantis has also become a target of the media in recent weeks. A failed 60 minutes hit accused the governor of choosing Publix for distributions of COVID-19 vaccines because the company donated to his political committee.

The governor polled behind only Trump in the February CPAC straw poll, and the contributions for his gubernatorial reelection have far outpaced his expected 2022 Democrat challenger.

Although Trump has not formally announced whether he will be running for president in 2024, he has made clear in several interviews since leaving office that it is something he considers. Trump reiterated this stance Thursday morning when asked by Bartiromo, to which he responded, “Yes … 100% I’m thinking about running.”

This particular Twitter user has got a point:

The Epoch Times also reported:

I endorsed Ron and after I endorsed him he took off like a rocketship,” the former president told Fox Business on Thursday. “He’s done a great job as governor. I’m saying what I read and what you read, they love that ticket. Certainly, Ron would be considered. He’s a great guy.”

If Trump doesn’t run, DeSantis has been considered a potential GOP frontrunner for 2024. The Florida governor has been praised by numerous Republicans for his move to lift all COVID-19-related restrictions in his state in September, making Florida one of the most open states.

“I ran twice, and the second time I got 12 million more votes than the first time,” Trump also remarked in the interview.

The former commander-in-chief, however, did not make a definitive prediction in the interview about running again. If he makes an announcement too early, it “has a big impact on fundraising and many other things.”

“It’s a little bit of a crazy, complex thing,” Trump added in the interview. “The whole fundraising contribution stuff is ridiculous; the laws are so archaic and stupid, frankly.”

Separately, Trump encouraged Republicans to “have courage” and “keep fighting” against the Democrats’ agenda.

“It’s going to happen,” he said. “We’re going to turn it around. They’ve gone too far. They can’t get away with this. We can’t allow them to get away with this. They’re destroying our country. Have courage. It’s going to happen. I’m with you.

This promises to be one hell of a ticket.
