Trump Asks For Security For Brave Patriots Auditing The Arizona Election

Well, it’s happening.

Legislative Republicans in Arizona are challenging the election results.

And no one is more sure that the results will be different this time than President Trump.

According to Fox 10 :

Months after former President Donald Trump’s election defeat, legislative Republicans in Arizona are challenging the outcome as they embark on an unprecedented effort to audit the results in the state’s most populous county.

The state Senate used its subpoena power to take possession of all 2.1 million ballots in Maricopa County and the machines that counted them, along with computer hard drives full of data.

… Trump on April 23 predicted the audit would reveal fraud and would prompt similar reviews in other states he lost.

“Thank you State Senators and others in Arizona for commencing this full forensic audit,” the former president said in a statement. “I predict the results will be startling!”

Unfortunately, because of the pressure by the Democrats, even Republicans won’t touch this issue with a bargepole.

The audit has been handed over to a company called the”Cyber Ninjas”.

According to the Left-leaning Guardian:

Cyber Ninjas began a manual recount on Friday, a day after Democrats asked a judge to put an end to the audit. The judge ordered the company to follow ballot and voter secrecy laws and demanded it turn over written procedures and training manuals before a hearing on Monday. He offered to pause the count over the weekend if Democrats posted a $1m bond to cover added expenses. The party declined.

On a since-deleted Twitter account, Cyber Ninjas owner Doug Logan used hashtags and shared memes popular with people promoting unsupported allegations casting doubt on Biden’s victory. Logan says his personal views are irrelevant because he is running a transparent audit with video streamed online.

“There’s a lot of Americans here, myself included, that are really bothered by the way our country is being ripped apart right now,” Logan said. “We want a transparent audit to be in place so that people can trust the results and can get everyone on the same page.”

… The state senate has put up $150,000 for the audit but Logan has acknowledged that is not enough to cover his expenses. A rightwing cable channel, One America News Network, raised money from unknown contributors which went directly to Cyber Ninjas. Logan would not commit to disclosing the donors and would not provide an estimate for the cost of his audit.

Further, our friends at The Epoch Times report today that President Trump has asked Gov Ducey to provide security for the audit taking place:

Former President Donald Trump has asked Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey to provide security for a 2020 election audit taking place in the state’s largest county.

“The Republican Party is demanding that Gov. Ducey of Arizona immediately provide large-scale security for the brave American Patriots doing the Forensic Audit of the 2020 Presidential Election,” Trump wrote in a statement on April 24.

“Gov. Ducey will be held fully responsible for the safety of those involved. State police or National Guard must be immediately sent out for protection. The Democrats do not want to have this information revealed, and they will do anything to stop it. Gov. Ducey must finally act!”

However, Ducey’s reluctance to push for the audit has President Trump furious.

According to Insider:

Trump’s post-presidential office released two statements on Friday and Saturday slamming Ducey for not backing GOP attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

He said on Friday, according to The Hill: “The Governor of Arizona, Doug Ducey, has been shockingly of zero help to the State Senate. He wants to ‘pretend’ the election was free and fair. What are he and the Maricopa County Commissioners trying to hide?”

In a separate statement Saturday, Trump said Ducey should be helping protect the private firm hired by the GOP to conduct the recount.

“The Republican Party is demanding that Governor Ducey of Arizona immediately provide large-scale security for the brave American Patriots doing the Forensic Audit of the 2020 Presidential Election. Governor Ducey will be held fully responsible for the safety of those involved,” he said.
