We’ve seen every trick in the book to inflate COVID-19 case and death rates.
Pay hospitals for putting patients on ventilators and diagnosing patients as having COVID-19.
Use a threshold of 40 for PCR tests to increase the likelihood of popping positive.
And now another sneaky incentive has emerged that is ripe for scammers to take advantage of.
Through FEMA, the federal government allows families to apply for upwards of $9,000 for funeral expenses for someone who died from COVID-19.
Now, everyone who passes away deserves a proper funeral.
But why is this limited to only COVID-19 deaths?
Why not victims of heart disease, stroke, cancer, car accidents, or any other causes of death?
Because you know many people will take advantage of this program for the funds.
For someone desperate for the money, that’s an incentive to list their relative’s death as COVID-19.
And if many people do that, COVID-19 death rates could soar higher.
Here’s more:
I thought this was a myth, but no: the government will pay up to $9,000 for a funeral for someone who dies of #Covid. Which is $9,000 more than it will pay for the funeral of anyone else.
That's not an incentive to report a death as Covid-related AT ALL.https://t.co/QRrWYlw0UQ

Yes, it's true: the US government is now paying an unprecedented $9,000 for funeral expenses of anyone whose death certificate shows death "may have been caused by" "COVID-19-like symptoms." If the death certificate does not show that, it can be amended.https://t.co/tgb80XPsAu pic.twitter.com/WTUR7rYdQs

Ever wondered why so many people are willing to accept Covid-19 as the cause of death even when they know it was something else like heart disease, cancer or some other terrible illness? Here is why https://t.co/mZCK9S7iaH

From C NET:
If a relative of yours died from COVID-19, you may be able to get reimbursed up to $9,000 for funeral expenses. That’s $2,000 more per person than the $7,000 upper limit announced in February. Starting this week, the Federal Emergency Management Administration began accepting applications from eligible families.
The FEMA measure was part of the December COVID-19 relief law, which also included a second stimulus check of up to $600. The law includes $2 billion for people who have been harmed by the pandemic and may have gone into debt to pay for the funeral and burial of a loved one.
The article also states the requirements to receive the reimbursement:
You can apply for COVID-19 related funeral reimbursement if you meet the following criteria, according to FEMA:
- The death must have occurred in the US, including the US territories and the District of Columbia.
- The funeral costs were incurred after Jan. 20, 2020.
- The death certificate must indicate the death was attributed to COVID-19.
- The applicant must be a US citizen, noncitizen national or qualified alien who incurred funeral expenses after Jan. 20, 2020.
- There is no requirement for the deceased person to have been a US citizen, noncitizen national or qualified alien.
- There is no income requirement.
If you think like me, you know the federal government didn’t pass this out of the goodness of their hearts to financially support families of COVID-19 victims.
They’re hoping that thousands of people seize the opportunity to slip COVID-19 onto the death certificate of a loved one for the cash.
Since you get $0 for honestly reporting a cause of death that’s not COVID-19, that will deter many people from telling the truth.
But this shows they’re desperate and their narrative is slipping from their grasps.
They’ll try anything to maintain the perpetual cycle of COVID-19 hysteria.
