Robert Jacob the former Democrat mayor of Sebastopol in Sonoma County, Northern California has now been charged with 11 child sex felony charges.
His charges included “lewd acts with a child ages 14 to 15, sexual penetration of a child under 16, making a child under 16 available to another person for lewd or lascivious acts, and distribution of child pornography”.
Jacob was a strong BLM advocate and even called for the police to be defunded.
It’s troubling to think that he literally advocated defunding the police around the same time he was sexually assaulting children.

Robert Jacob, progressive former mayor of Sebastopol in Sonoma County, Northern California, was arrested for “five felony and one misdemeanor sexual assault charges against a minor,” according to a statement from the Sebastopol Police Department.
Last Tuesday, when he appeared in the Sonoma County Superior Court, the number of Jacob’s felony charges was increased to 11.
Jacob has been a proponent of “defunding the police,” as had child sex offender Christopher DeVries – a leader of a local BLM chapter.
The charges against Jacob include: committing lewd acts with a child ages 14 to 15, participating in sexual penetration of a child under 16, making a child under 16 available to another person for lewd or lascivious acts, and distribution of child pornography.

ABC 7News had more details to share:
Former mayor of Sebastapol, Robert Jacob has been arrested on suspicion having sex with a minor.
Sebastopol police arrested Jacob, 44, Saturday morning, booking him on five felony counts and one misdemeanor related to the alleged sexual assault crimes against a child 15-year-old or under.
Sebastapol Police Chief Kevin Kilgore said they received a tip on March 30 and quickly began their investigation.
Kilgore said they believe the crimes may have begun in December of 2019 and continued through March of 2021. Jacob served as mayor from 2012 to 2016.
At this time, police have only heard from one victim though, they are asking anyone with information to come forward.
After reading this, the phrase defund the police will never be the same.
The phrase defund the police just doesn’t take money away from police departments but what it really does is take our children’s safety away and force them to live in a world where they are constantly being preyed on.
