Democrats really have gotten absurd haven’t they?
Over the last several years they have become increasingly unhinged! They have also grown more bold.
The latest assault on our country comes in the form of them trying to pack the supreme court with their people, so they can push through their socialist agenda unchecked.
People from all sorts of political backgrounds just aren’t having it though, and now they are speaking out.
Their corruption is on full display right at this moment.
Let’s hope the voices of reason win out against this blatant assault on our country’s laws and institutions.
Take a look:
Fox News had more on the story:
House and Senate Democrats announced a bill proposal Thursday on the steps of the Supreme Court seeking to expand the court by four justices, while also calling to repeal the filibuster in an effort to move the legislation forward.
Fox News’ chief legal correspondent Shannon Bream joined "The Faulkner Focus" to respond to the Democrats’ request, suggesting that abolishing the filibuster would "change everything on Capitol Hill, not just about the Supreme Court."
Under the Democrats’ proposed plan, Biden would have the ability to appoint nominees for four additional seats on the high court, which would overcome the court’s current 6-3 conservative majority.
Bream suggested the move is an intimidation tactic by Democrats, "telling these justices, ‘You got to stop deciding things the way that you are, or the way we think you may lean, or we’re going to give you four new colleagues."
From the blog of law professor Jonathan Turley:
We recently discussed the controversial commission created by President Joe Biden to discuss calls to pack the Supreme Court as well as a number of truly looney ideas for circumventing or reducing the authority of the Court’s conservative majority. Some members however decided not to wait even for a commission that is itself packed with liberal members. House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler, D-NY, Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass, and others will be announcing their plan to immediately add four new justices to the Court. The number is calculated purely to give liberals a 7-6 majority on the Court. It is about a subtle as a B-52 run.
Many of us have discussed the expansion of the Supreme Court through the years. Over 20 years ago, I recommended the expansion of the Court to 17 or 19 members. However, that recommendation would occur over many years and would not give advocates the short-term majority that they are seeking. That is the difference between reforming and packing the Court.
