This past week we saw several States issue an Executive Order banning vaccine passports but now Republican lawmakers are looking to make all states ban vaccine passports.
Arizona Republican Representative Andy Briggs has introduced a piece of legislation called the “No Vaccine Passport Act”.
The “No Vaccine Passport Act” aims to ban federal agencies from creating vaccine passports and in Briggs’ own words it also seeks to prevent “Big Brother surveillance on our society”.
So what exactly is the vaccine passport, well it’s an official document (paper or electronic) that determines whether an individual has been vaccinated from COVID-19.

We all know if states start issuing vaccine passports then American’s will more than likely not be able to buy or sell conveniently anymore considering all the “woke” corporations would make it a policy that only people with vaccination passports can shop at their stores or buy their plane tickets and we all know where that slippery slope will lead.

Fox News covered the story and shared these details:
Arizona Republican Rep. Andy Biggs introduced legislation Thursday that would ban federal agencies from creating “vaccine passports.”
Vaccine passports are a method some have purposed to demonstrate whether or not an individual has been vaccinated from the deadly coronavirus.
While proponents of such a system have said it would be helpful in reopening businesses and the travel industry, Republicans in Congress have condemned the idea as an invasion of privacy and an opening for government surveillance.
“I am profoundly disturbed that the Biden Administration would even consider imposing vaccine passports on the American people,” Biggs said in a statement Thursday. “My private healthcare decisions—and yours—are nobody else’s business. Vaccine passports will not help our nation recover from COVID-19, instead, they will simply impose more Big Brother surveillance on our society.”
Biggs said Friday: “Americans have to be proactive against the radical left, who have pushed the idea of vaccine passports.
“If the White House truly opposes vaccine passports or similar requirements, then we welcome President Biden to support our bill to ensure the federal government stays out of people’s private healthcare decisions.”

The Washington Times chipped in too:
Republicans against so-called vaccine passports have proposed a bill to ban the federal government from issuing documentation that could be used to prove a person has been inoculated against COVID-19.
“My private healthcare decisions – and yours – are nobody else’s business,” Rep. Andy Biggs, Arizona Republican, said in a statement Thursday announcing his newly introduced No Vaccine Passport Act.
The bill was proposed in the House of Representatives with support from 18 co-sponsors, all Republicans, as more Americans become vaccinated against COVID-19, the disease the novel coronavirus causes.
If passed as written, the bill would prevent the federal government from issuing paperwork that private businesses could then check to confirm whether or not a potential customer has been vaccinated.
Additionally, the bill would effectively ban members of Congress, such as its sponsors, from having to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to access the U.S. Capitol and adjacent office buildings.
“An agency may not issue a vaccine passport, vaccine pass or other standardized documentation for the purpose of certifying the COVID-19 vaccination status of a citizen of the United States to a third party, or otherwise publish or share any COVID-19 vaccination record of a citizen of the United States or similar health information,” reads one of the provisions of the proposed bill.
Texas and Florida have already banned vaccine passports, hopefully, lawmakers will come together and ban them federally too but with a Democrat-controlled House and Senate, it will be tough.
