How Joe Biden has managed to create such an enormous border crisis in just a few short months, is hard to fathom.
Biden himself has just two go-to responses to the current crisis.
The first response is that It’s Trump’s fault…
The second response is that there is no crisis…
One thing is for certain, History will not be kind to “President Biden.”
Former President Donald Trump released a statement on Tuesday laying into Biden and his administration for their disasterous handling of the situation.
In the statement, President Trump touted the many successes of his own administration’s handling of illegal immigration, and then said:
“Our country is being destroyed at the Southern border.”
The Fedaralist has more on President Trump's statement:
Former President Donald Trump railed President Joe Biden’s Democratic-engineered crisis at the border in a statement Tuesday.
“When I was President, our Southern border was in great shape – stronger, safer, and more secure than ever before. We ended Catch-and-Release, shut down asylum fraud, and crippled the vicious smugglers, drug dealers, and human traffickers,” Trump said. “The wall, despite horrendous Democrat delays, would have easily been finished by now, and is working magnificently. Our country is being destroyed at the Southern border, a terrible thing to see!”
President Trump's Statement on the Border Crisis
This follows a similar statement released by Trump last week, where he described the situation as a "spiraling tsunami at the border."
President Trump's Statement from March 5th
In the original statement, President Trump implored Biden to end this border nightmare, calling the border "totally out of control thanks to the disasterous leadership of Joe Biden."
Breitbart covered that story:
“Our border is now totally out of control thanks to the disastrous leadership of Joe Biden,” Trump wrote in a statement sent to reporters.
The former president sounded the alarm over the renewed surge of migrants headed for the border after the Biden administration sent a signal that unaccompanied migrants would be welcomed into the United States.
The Department of Homeland Security predicts there will be 117,000 unaccompanied child migrants crossing the border in 2021, according to an Axios report.
“A mass incursion into the country by people who should not be here is happening on an hourly basis, getting worse by the minute,” he said.
The number of migrant youth daily referred to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for release into the United States has surged nearly 600 percent since President Trump was in office, according to newly released data, and federal shelters are at an estimated 93 percent of capacity.
Trump said that many migrants being allowed into the United States and illegal immigrants who are no longer being deported under Biden had criminal records or were infected with and spreading the coronavirus.
“The spiraling tsunami at the border is overwhelming local communities, depleting budgets, crowding hospitals, and taking jobs from legal American workers,” Trump wrote.
This terrible situation at the Southern border has left many missing the strong leadership that President Donald Trump provided for 4 years.
