Do you think woke culture is simply a nuisance?
Are you under the impression that woke people are annoying, but not actually a threat to anyone?
Well, think again.
Going woke is DEADLY.
A French schoolteacher, Samuel Paty, was beheaded last year by a jihadist.
Why?
Because he allegedly made anti-Muslim remarks and was accused of making fun of the prophet Mohammed.
The problem?
It turns out it was all based on lies.
The French schoolgirl who made the accusations has now ADMITTED to lying… one year later.
In other words, her lies…. her wokeness.. could have led to his death.
More details on this horrible story below:

Words have consequences. Lies have consequences.
And lying for the sake of wokeness is extremely deadly and dangerous for everyone involved.
The National Post confirms this tragic story:
Another incredible twist has surfaced in the case of the beheading of a Paris teacher last October.
Samuel Paty had just left the school on a Friday afternoon to go home to his five-year-old son when he was accosted by an 18-year-old. The teacher had allegedly been identified to the man by two students, aged 14 and 15, who had been paid about $450 to point him out. The three had waited outside the school until Paty left for the day.
During that class, Paty was said to have advised Muslim students to leave the room if they thought they might be offended by caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad that he planned to show. Depictions of the Prophet are taboo in Islam.
Two days later, a 13-year-old Muslim student at the school told her father about that class, saying the teacher had asked all Muslim students to leave the classroom and that when she complained, she was suspended for two days. Her father, Moroccan-born Brahim Chnina, 48, complained to the school and the police about discrimination. His subsequent reaction online, in which he identified Paty and the school, then sparked a widespread campaign against the teacher. Prosecutors say there was a “direct causal link” between the campaign and the murder.
But now, the girl has admitted that she was not in attendance during that class, and that she had made up the story to appease her father. She had actually been suspended for truancy the day before the class and wanted to divert his attention. Investigators reportedly said she had an “inferiority complex” and was devoted to her father.
The BBC reported that, according to evidence given by the girl and seen by French media, she said: “I didn’t see the cartoons, it was a girl in my class who showed me them.”
“She lied because she felt trapped in a spiral because her classmates had asked her to be a spokesperson,” her lawyer, Mbeko Tabula, told AFP news agency.
But on French radio, the Paty family lawyer, Virginie Le Roy, said the girl’s family knew she had not been in class on that day and why she had been suspended. “So to come and say now, sorry, I believed my daughter’s lies, that’s really weak,” she told RTL radio.
Paty’s killer, Abdullakh Anzorov, was a radicalized Chechen migrant living in Normandy, the Guardian reports. On Oct. 16, having read about the teacher, he went to the school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, a suburb of Paris, and paid the two teenagers from the school to identify Paty. The boys, too young to be named, are two of seven people police are attaching to the killing. More than 80 people who posted online messages of support for Paty’s killer will also be investigated, SkyNews reported.
[…]
“It was the father’s excessive behaviour, making and posting a video incriminating the professor that led to this spiral,” the Guardian reports Tabula as telling the Parisien. “My client lied, but even if it had been true, the reaction of her father was still disproportionate.”
Unfortunately, this is nothing new for leftist radicals.
They lie about whatever scenario they think will benefit their situation.
Just look at Justice Kavanaugh and all of the baseless accusations that were leveled against him.
All of this was done in the name of liberal wokeness.

This is so awful. The story about Samuel Paty — whose murder would’ve been egregious regardless — and his classroom lesson on offensive cartoons was distorted from the start. https://t.co/n0bQux1SDy pic.twitter.com/Xarc7umjvC

Why would a teenage schoolgirl lie about her teacher like that?
What kind of “reward” or “attention” did she think she would get?
This is the disturbing world we live in — one where liberals’ reaction to these stories encourages people to claim that they are the victims of hate crimes.
BBC News has more details on this extremely tragic situation:
A French schoolgirl has admitted to spreading false claims about a teacher before he was murdered last year.
Samuel Paty was beheaded in October after showing students cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.
The girl, whose complaints sparked an online campaign against Paty, has now admitted that she was not in the class.
Mr Paty’s killing stunned France and led to an outpouring of support at memorial ceremonies and marches around the country.
The 13-year-old girl, who has not been officially named, originally told her father that Paty had asked Muslim students to leave the classroom while he showed the cartoon during a class on free speech and blasphemy.
According to evidence given by the girl seen by French media she said: “I didn’t see the cartoons, it was a girl in my class who showed me them.”
“She lied because she felt trapped in a spiral because her classmates had asked her to be a spokesperson,” her lawyer, Mbeko Tabula, told AFP news agency.
The girl’s father filed a legal complaint against the teacher and began a social media campaign over the incident based on his daughter’s account. He identified Paty and the school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, west of Paris.
The perpetrator, 18-year-old Abdullakh Anzorov, was shot dead by police shortly after the attack.
It then emerged that the campaign against the history and geography teacher had been based on a distorted account of what had happened in class days earlier.
As he had done in similar lessons on free speech in previous years, Paty warned students that he was about to show a depiction of Muhammad. He said anyone who thought they might be offended could close their eyes.
The girl had originally claimed the teacher had asked Muslim pupils to leave the room. When she objected she was suspended from school, she said. It now appears that the girl was suspended the day before the class was given, according to Le Parisien newspaper, because of repeated absence from school.
The girl explains in her leaked testimony that she made up the story so as not to disappoint her father. He posted two videos on social media in response to the allegations.
Speaking on French radio on Tuesday, the Paty family’s lawyer said the girl’s family knew that she had not been in class on the day in question and why she had been suspended. “So to come and say now, sorry, I believed my daughter’s lies, that’s really weak,” Virginie Le Roy told RTL radio.
In a separate development, two university professors have been given police protection after they were accused of Islamophobia by student protesters.
An investigation has begun after posters were put up last week at Sciences Po university in Grenoble that read “Fascists in our lecture halls, Islamophobia kills”, naming the two professors.
Junior Interior Minister Marlène Schiappa said their lives were in danger and the campaign was reminiscent of the harassment of Samuel Paty. “We can’t tolerate this kind of thing,” she said.
This is why when accusations are made, due process must proceed.
Everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
At least… that’s the case in America.
Let’s hope it stays that way.
