Oh, how the authoritarians cling for power and control.
Following the move by Texas and Mississippi to fully reopen and end statewide mask mandates, Biden delivered this bumbling response:
President Biden on Texas and Mississippi lifting their statewide mask mandates: "I think it's a big mistake…It's critical, critical, critical that they follow the scienceā¦" pic.twitter.com/ETcTJw04ij

Follow the science?
The science of killing thousands of small businesses for a virus with over a 99% survival rate.
The science of face diapers that make you breathe your own carbon dioxide and give you bacterial pneumonia.
The science of experimental vaccines loaded with severe side effects.
I’ll choose freedom instead.
But the pro-lockdown and pro-face diaper crowd are clinging to their authoritative grip on society.
They just don’t want to leave the pro-liberty crowd alone:
A day after the GOP governors of Texas and Mississippi said they're lifting COVID-19 restrictions, President Joe Biden said: "The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking." https://t.co/W8K6dSGm9K

Here in sanity land, we have President Biden telling people to remain vigilant and be responsible even though we'll have more vaccine doses available relatively soon. Over there in Republican insanity land, we have Texas and Mississippi lifting mask mandates, etc. way too early.

Unsurprisingly, the CDC Director urged Texas and Mississippi residents to ignore the reopening and continue to wear their face diapers:
Texas and Mississippi said they're lifting COVID-19 restrictions, including mask mandates, a day after CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky warned states that "now is not the time" to do so. https://t.co/pjBNkoAUCp pic.twitter.com/d8wojyXIIE

"Fatigue is winning," @CDCDirector warned today.
New strains of the coronavirus are proliferating.
Meanwhile, states like Texas and Mississippi are lifting restrictions.

Zero Hedge had further details:
Newly minted CDC Director Rochelle Walensky wants residents of Texas and Mississippi toĀ continue wearing face masksĀ despite the governors thereĀ lifting COVID-19 restrictionsĀ amid a decline in cases.
“I think we, the CDC, have been very clear that now is not the time to release all restrictions,” said Walensky during a White House pandemic briefing in response to a question about reopening Texas. “Every individual is empowered to do the right thing here, regardless of what states decide.”
On Tuesday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott enraged the left after announcing that the state would lift its mask mandate and reopen businesses next week, whileĀ also banning counties from fining or jailing people who disregard local measures.
Effective March 10, all businesses will be allowed to open at 100% of capacity, Abbott said during a media briefing in Lubbock on Tuesday.Ā His executive order allows county judges to reinstate anti-virus rules should hospitalizations surge.
āToo many Texans have been sidelined from employment opportunities; too many small-business owners have struggled to pay their bills,ā the Republican governor said. āIt is now time to open Texas 100%.ā
In response to Abbott’s proclamation, a flood of presumed Democrats vowed to continue wearing masks, and encouraged others to do so (h/tĀ Summit News).
Mississippi, meanwhile, announced that it would rescind county mask mandates on Wednesday, and that businesses could operate at full capacity.
It’s simple.
The pro-lockdown and pro-face diaper crowd can stay inside their bubbles, cover their faces, and socially distance from us.
While the freedom-loving crowd returns to sanity.
