Illegals In California Will Get $600 Stimulus Check!

In California, it pays to break the law.

California is floating dangerously close to becoming a third world country thanks to Gavin Newsom’s failures.

Newsom refuses to lift bans on outdoor dining.

Small business owners are completely going under.

People are leaving California in massive numbers that we’ve never seen before.

Meanwhile, Newsom is now passing a covid “relief bill” that includes sending $600 checks to illegal immigrants living in the state.

As if California doesn’t have enough problems already, all this bill does is perpetuate the idea that the law doesn’t matter.

Criminals are literally being paid for their crimes, while hard working American citizens are being thrown to the wasteside.

Fox Business has more on the $600 stimulus checks:

California lawmakers on Monday approved $600 stimulus checks for state residents, including immigrants who are in the country illegally, according to reports.

Gov. Gavin Newsom's office passed the provision for stimulus checks on Monday as part of the state's new $7.6 billion COVID-19 relief package and said he would sign it into law on Tuesday.

About $470 million in stimulus checks will go to 565,000 Californians with individual tax identification numbers who did not receive federal stimulus payments and whose income is less than $75,000, many of whom are here illegally, The Los Angeles Times reported Monday.

The provision allocates about $2.3 billion for $1,200 stimulus payments to state residents with individual tax ID numbers who qualify for the California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC) -- mostly people who earn less than $30,000.

Additionally, $600 one-time grants will go toward households enrolled in the CalWORKS program and recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI). About 405,000 payments will be made out to CalWORKS recipients; 1.2 million checks will be made out to SSI beneficiaries; and 15,000 will be made out to those enrolled in CAPI, the Times reported.

In total, 5.7 million payments will be made out to low-income Californians as part of the state's new stimulus plan, according to a press release.

Gavin Newsom, who is facing recall via special election, is only burying himself deeper in the minds of many Californians disinfranchised with his leadership.

Still, Newsom is pushing forward with more questionable legislation.

The IB Times has more on what Newsom had to say about this questionable relief bill:

“As millions of Californians are struggling to make ends meet amid the devastating impacts of this pandemic, we are taking immediate action in partnership with our legislative leaders to provide families and businesses the relief they need,” Newsom said.

“This $7.6 billion of direct relief that we are providing today not only helps support small business but supports some 5.7 million Californians with direct stimulus check relief,” the governor continued.

Some of the 3.8 million checks will go to residents earning less than $30,000 annually. The state government will also provide over 565,000 stimulus payments to people with individual tax identification numbers who did not receive checks from the federal government. Many who qualify in this category are illegal immigrants earning below $75,000.

“Those that have been left behind in the federal stimulus, California is not going to leave you behind,” Newsom said during the Tuesday signing ceremony.

Newsom has continually failed the state of California.

Even as he passes this garbage relief bill, small business owners are still suffering the effects of his coronavirus restrictions, including bans on outdoor dining.
