This whole impeachment trial is an absolute sham.
A senior impeachment aide has come out and confirmed that a tweet used by Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell in the impeachment trial had a fake blue verification checkmark.
The tweet that was used in the Senate trial was from Jennifer Lynn Lawerence who is not verified on Twitter but Dems added a fake blue checkmark next to her name.
Take a look:
I’ve never been verified on Twitter so why did my Tweet used in the fact-free impeachment include a verification badge? I’m assuming Democrats faked it like they are faking the whole case. @RepSwalwell why did you add a verified badge to my tweet in your presentation? pic.twitter.com/9Ww0TLveNA

Fox News had more to add to the story:
A senior impeachment aide said the inclusion of a fake blue check verification mark on tweets that were presented at the Senate trial was an accident.
The tweets showed comments from Jennifer Lynn Lawrence who was retweeted by former President Trump. The two tweets that were exhibited included blue check marks next to Lawrence’s name.
Blue checks show the user’s identity has been verified and also connote a certain status.
“The final graphic accidentally had a blue verification checkmark on it, but the substance of it was entirely accurate,” the aide said.
The house impeachment managers who doctored evidence should be REMOVED FROM OFFICE IMMEDIATELY.

House Managers: You have misconstrued my words! You have falsely used my tweets to bolster your case against Trump and not one of you have contacted me. Not one of you have ask me anything. This is wrong and an infringement on my 1st amendment in multiple ways. @StaceyPlaskett

The Washington Examiner chipped in too:
House impeachment managers “accidentally” added a blue-check verification to a pro-Trump tweet used in the Senate trial of the former president, but aides condemned the charge by defense lawyers that they manipulated video evidence.
Senior House Democratic aides for the managers acknowledged a graphic they displayed during the trial showing a pro-Trump tweet “accidentally had a blue verification check mark” but said the content of the tweet was “entirely accurate.”
“If anything, it is further evidence of President Trump’s attention to and knowledge of what was being openly planned on January 6 by his followers, even those without Twitter verifications,” a senior Democratic aide said.
The tweeter, Jennifer Lynn Lawrence, this week said her Twitter account does not have the blue check mark that the social media giant uses to indicate a “verified” account.
Dems have been lying and doctoring evidence this whole time.
This case should be dismissed now!
