It’s good to see some people are standing up against the Biden regime.
The Western Energy Oil Alliance has sued Biden for his Executive Order that halts all oil and gas leasing on federal lands for 60 days.
The lawsuit by the Alliance was filed in a Wyoming District Court and stated Biden overstepped the National Environmental Policy Act, the Mineral Leasing Act, and the Federal Lands Policy and Management Act.
Biden’s sudden decision to halt all oil and gas leasing on federal lands is causing thousands of men and women to be out of a job.
“The law is clear. Presidents don’t have authority to ban leasing on public lands. All Americans own the oil and natural gas beneath public lands, and Congress has directed them to be responsibly developed on their behalf.”https://t.co/O626z32omY

Biden’s order issued Wednesday to pause new oil and gas leasing on public lands was praised by Coloradans who see the move as crucial to fighting climate change but was immediately met with a lawsuit. https://t.co/W7g8KGduj7

The Denver Post covered the lawsuit and provided these details:
Denver-based Western Energy Alliance, an industry organization, said a recent study by a Wyoming trade group shows a prolonged leasing moratorium could cost eight Western states as much as $33.5 billion over Biden’s first term and 58,676 jobs annually. The president doesn’t have the authority to ban leasing on public lands, said Kathleen Sgamma, the group’s president, and the group filed a lawsuit Wednesday to stop the executive order.
“All Americans own the oil and natural gas beneath public lands, and Congress has directed them to be responsibly developed on their behalf,” Sgamma said. “President Biden cannot simply ignore laws in effect for over half a century.”
The alliance filed the lawsuit in federal court in Wyoming.

Western Energy Alliance added more details in their most recent press release:
Today, Western Energy Alliance filed a lawsuit challenging President Joe Biden’s executive order banning oil and natural gas leasing on federal public lands. The complaint challenges Biden’s order as exceeding presidential authority and constituting a violation of the Mineral Leasing Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and the Federal Lands Policy and Management Act.
The Alliance filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming. The state ranks first in federal natural gas production and third in oil and has more federal acres leased than any other state. The Alliance will be represented by L. Poe Leggette, Mark S. Barron and Alexander K. Obrecht of BakerHostetler.
According to a recent economic study from the Wyoming Energy Authority, the cost of Biden’s ban will be staggering. In his first term, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) across eight western states would decline $33.5 billion, 58,676 jobs would be cut annually, wages would drop $15 billion, and state tax revenue would plummet $8.3 billion. Wyoming and New Mexico would be hit the hardest.

Biden isn’t solving climate change with this executive order but instead waging war with the American people.
