Over 100 National Guard Troops Guarding The Capitol Have Tested Positive For COVID

Didn’t Biden tout he had a magical plan that could fix COVID?

I guess that plan never existed and was just all talk.

Reports have come out stating that hundreds of National Guard troops have tested positive for the Coronavirus.

The news isn’t too shocking considering since Biden’s inauguration troops were forced to rest inside of cold parking garages.

It will be interesting to see if the media will hammer Biden like they did Trump about the spread of COVID.

Fox News didn’t stay quiet and had this to say:

More than 100 National Guard members stationed at the Capitol have tested positive for COVID-19, defense officials said Friday.

Pictures and reports of guard members working in close proximity to each other raised concerns about a potential outbreak.

Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., told Fox News that his office is investigating what kind of coronavirus precautions Guardsmen took while deploying in Washington, D.C.

National Guard members from Florida did not take COVID-19 tests prior to deploying, but did perform screenings and were offered the Moderna vaccine before traveling, a spokesman for the state’s Department of Military Affairs told Fox News. The servicemembers have been wearing masks and conducting daily screenings, and no members from Florida have tested positive.

Sky News dropped these details:

Up to 200 members of the National Guard on duty in Washington DC for inauguration day have tested positive for coronavirus, an official has said.

More than 25,000 troops were drafted in from all over the US to ensure a smooth transition of power.

An official who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity said that although some troops had become infected – it was less than 1% of the total number working across the Capitol.

Huge numbers were deployed to Washington for Joe Biden’s inauguration following the riots and looting of Capitol buildings on 6 January.
