President Trump made a surprise call to Republican lawmakers at The Pennsylvania State Senate hearing yesterday.
Trump’s attorney Jenna Ellis held a phone to the microphone and to many lawmakers’ surprise it was President Trump on the other line.
The room absolutely erupted in cheers when the lawmakers noticed it was President Trump.
During the call, Trump showed no signs of lost hope and was quoted saying “this election was rigged and we can’t let that happen. We can’t let it happen to our country. This election has to be turned around.”

ABC News covered the President’s call:
President Donald Trump phoned into a meeting of Pennsylvania Republican lawmakers to say he believes he was “cheated” out of a victory in the 2020 election and the outcome should be turned over.
“This was an election that we won easily. We won it by a lot,” Trump said to the lawmakers and Republican supporters in the ballroom of a Gettysburg hotel. “Very sad to say it — this election was rigged and we can’t let that happen. We can’t let it happen for our country. This election has to be turned around.”
Trump has made few appearances since the election and the phone call represents some of the most direct remarks he has made about his desire to see the results of the contest reversed.

WGAL News covered the call too:
President Donald Trump addressed state lawmakers Wednesday at a hearing on Pennsylvania’s election.
Trump had planned to attend in person but canceled the trip to Gettysburg because of a member of his legal team tested positive for the coronavirus.
Trump was placed on speakerphone to address Republican lawmakers on the Senate Majority Policy Committee, who organized the hearing to discuss potential election irregularities.
The Trump campaign continues to claim there was fraud in Pennsylvania and other battleground states, but so far, attorneys have not been able to prove that in court.
“The Kraken” was released by Sydney Powell, Lin Wood’s lawsuit was appealed to the 11th Circuit Court and the Republican lawmakers hearing in PA went well.
Yesterday was a monumental day for the Trump campaign.
