Just In: Donald Trump Is Leading Texas Still Too Early To Call

Trump currently holds a 150,000 vote lead over Joe Biden in the state of Texas.

Democrats touted that Texas was going to turn blue but so far it looks like it will remain red.

NBC News has reported with 76% of the vote in being counted in Texas Trump currently leads Biden by over 150,000 votes.

CNBC covered the story and added these details:

NATIONAL POLL: Do You Trust Fox News?

President Donald Trump is leading Democratic presidential challenger Joe Biden in Texas, but the contest in the Lone Star State still remained too close to call on Tuesday evening, NBC News reported.

Texas has 38 Electoral College votes, second only to California’s 55. Polling averages going into Tuesday had indicated a close race with a slight Trump advantage.

As of 9:45 p.m. ET, 74 percent of the expected vote in Texas had been tallied, and Trump was leading the former vice president by less than 1 percentage point.

President Trump won the state of Texas in 2016 by 52% and this year it looks like he will win it again.

The last time Texas turned blue was in 1976 when Jimmy Carter was running for President.

With 38 electoral votes Texas is a must-win for President Trump.
