Welcome to the Trump train mayors of Minnesota!

This is truly incredible, six Democrat mayors from Minnesota have denounced Biden and have endorsed Trump.

One of them is quoted saying “They’ve gone so far left I can’t support the Democratic ticket this year.”

The mayors are all part of Minnesota’s Iron Range and they believe Biden will make bad trade deals and put tariffs on products that will result in crippling the iron industry in Minnesota.

The Six  Mayors who came to their senses were:

Mayor Larry Cuffe of Virginia, Minnesota

Mayor John Champa of Chisholm, Minnesota

Mayor Chuck Novak of Ely, Minnesota

Mayor Chris Swanson of Two Harbors, Minnesota

Mayor Robert Vlaisavljevich of Eveleth, Minnesota

Mayor Andrea Zupancich of Babbitt, Minnesota

The Washington Times covered the remarkable story :

Six Democratic mayors from Minnesota’s Iron Range endorsed President Trump’s reelection Friday, signing an open letter that praised the president as a champion for working-class people and slammed Democratic nominee Joseph R. Biden as “out of touch.”

“Today, we don’t recognize the Democratic Party,” the mayors wrote. “It has been moved so far to the left it can no longer claim to be advocates of the working class. The hard-working Minnesotans that built their lives and supported their families here on the Range have been abandoned by radical Democrats. We didn’t choose to leave the Democratic Party, the party left us.”

“Lifelong politicians like Joe Biden are out of touch with the working class, out of touch with what the country needs, and out of touch with those of us here on the Iron Range and in small towns like ours across our nation,” the mayors wrote.

CBS 17 News covered the story too:

Six Democratic mayors in Minnesota announced they’ve endorsed President Donald Trump over Joe Biden saying the Democratic candidate hasn’t done enough to help the working class.

In the letter dated Friday and viewed by the Duluth News Tribune, the mayors argued, “by putting tariffs on our products and supporting bad trade deals, politicians like Joe Biden did nothing to help the working class.”

The mayors claimed their region dubbed Iron Range had lost “thousands of jobs.” That portion of Minnesota they represent is named for its iron ore mining districts.

The letter was signed Harbors Mayor Chris Swanson, Virginia Mayor Larry Cuffe, Chisholm Mayor John Champa, Ely Mayor Chuck Novak, Eveleth Mayor Robert Vlaisavljevich and Babbitt Mayor Andrea Zupancich.

“Break on through to the other side!”

You know how sometimes we say “why isn’t there any good news?” well this isn’t just good news this is great news!

Trump lost Minnesota to Hillary Clinton by a slim margin of .47% in 2016.

However, Minnesota is up for grabs this year and so far Trump has all the momentum.
