Democrat Governor of Minnesota Tried To Shut Down Trump’s Rally But Failed Miserably

The Governor of Minessota really tried to play Mr. tough guy with President Trump.

Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison only permitted 250 people to attendĀ  President Trump’s rally at the Rochester International Airport in Minnesota.

The 250 person limit didn’t stop Trump supporters though!

Thousands waited outside of the Rochester airport to get a glimpse of President Trump

Trump took shots at the Democrat leadership in Minnesota during the rally and said: ā€œYour far-left Democrat Attorney General Keith Ellison and your Democrat governor tried to shut down our rally, silence the people of Minnesota, and take away your freedom and your rightsā€.

The New York Post covered the full story and contributed these details:

President Trump greeted hundreds of supporters gathered outside a Minnesota rally venue Friday night after Democratic state officials limited attendance to just 250 socially distanced seats.

A crowd many times larger than the number of people allowed a seat near Trump gathered outside the gates in Rochester, southeastern Minnesota, images tweeted by journalists indicate.

Trump took a motorcade to the overflow crowd rather than the state-sanctioned stage after disembarking Air Force One.

ā€œThere are thousands of people all because the governor wants to play games,ā€ Trump said as he approached within feet of the large group of supporters gathered behind a barricade.

ā€œThere are thousands of people injured by this,ā€ Trump said. ā€ Iā€™m going to go back and speak to 250 peopleā€¦ This should be a lesson [for Democratic Gov. Tim Walz].ā€

CBS 4 News didn’t keep quiet and added these details:

President Donald Trump spoke Friday at the Rochester International Airport, to a crowd of about 250 supporters, but hundreds of others who couldnā€™t get inside were showing their support outside.

Trump spoke briefly to the hundreds who gathered outside the venue, Rochester International Airport, before giving quick remarks on the tarmac to supporters who were allowed onsite. The president, whose campaign rally speeches are typically fiery and at least an hour long, was unusually subdued. He did, however, lash out at the stateā€™s Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and its attorney general.

ā€œYour far left Democrat Attorney General Keith Ellison and your Democrat governor tried to shut down our rally, silence the people of Minnesota, and take away your freedom and your rights,ā€ Trump said.

Just four days before the election, Trump supporters are hoping for four more years for the President. Some came from other states just to rally.

The Governor and Attorney General of Minnesota were quiet when their city was burned down by rioters but now all of sudden they want people to social distance from each other.

The hypocrisy of the far left is a joke at this point.

They are using COVID as a political crutch to push their agenda from removing President Trump from office but it looks like that’s not happening.
