This is beyond rare.
CNN actually fact-checked Joe Biden and guess what?
They caught him in a lie!
Last night during the debate presidential candidate Joe Biden claimed he never opposed fracking in which Trump replied: “you said in on tape”.
Well CNN fact-checked Biden and they reported that in 2019, Biden said “we would make sure it’s eliminated” and again in 2020 in a Democratic primary debate he once again opposed fracking.
CNN analyst Daniel Dale even agreed with Trump’s comments and said, “Trump is correct”.
So let’s get this straight…
Even CNN confirms — Fact check: @JoeBiden falsely claims he never opposed fracking
BUT Twitter is putting accuracy warnings on unedited footage that proves Joe lied‼️https://t.co/H20MfkTQQU

FACT CHECK: Joe Biden LIED about his comments on fracking. He’s said many times that he wants to end fracking.

CNN reported these detail about Biden’s false claims:
Former Vice President Joe Biden claimed that he “never said I oppose fracking” when pressed by President Donald Trump on the issue during Thursday night’s presidential debate.
“You said it on tape,” Trump replied.
Facts First: It’s false that Biden never said he opposed fracking. In two Democratic primary debates, Biden made confusing remarks over fracking that his campaign had to clarify. In 2019, Biden said “we would make sure it’s eliminated” when asked about the future of coal and fracking; in 2020 he said he opposed “new fracking.” Biden’s written plan, conversely, never included a full ban on fracking or even on new fracking. Rather, it proposes “banning new oil and gas permitting on public lands and waters” — not ending all new fracking anywhere or ending all existing fracking on public lands and waters.
CNN FACT CHECK: "So in this case, Trump is correct. Biden did make anti-fracking comments during the Democratic primary in 2019 and 2020. And Trump was not lying." #Debates2020 pic.twitter.com/0xiGVPIah6

CNN’s star fact-checker Daniel Dale broke with precedent by offering multiple rulings against Joe Biden over claims the former vice president made during Thursday’s final presidential debate.
Dale, who has become famous in liberal circles for his marathon fact-checks of President Trump, appeared on CNN’s post-debate coverage to discuss an intense exchange when Trump pressed Biden for opposing fracking.
“I have never said that I oppose fracking,” Biden firmly said.
“You said it on tape!” Trump exclaimed.
“Show the tape! Put it on your website!” Biden challenged the president. “The fact of the matter is, he’s flat lying.”
Dale appeared bewildered as he was about to credit the president for being accurate on the issue.
“So in this case, Trump is correct. Biden did make anti-fracking comments in 2019 and 2020, and Trump was not lying,” Dale told anchor Anderson Cooper.
