Violent leftists have been terrorizing American cities for months now.
One of their favorite tactics is attacking vehicles with weapons and then screaming like victims when the driver of the vehicle goes through them.
Now, the same violent leftists are getting behind the wheel and driving through actual peaceful protesters.
A California woman has now been charged with attempted murder for doing just that, as she drove through a group of Trump supporters, injuring two people.
NPR covered the story of this horrible act:
A prolonged confrontation between Black Lives Matter and pro-Trump demonstrators outside Los Angeles turned violent Saturday, as someone drove a car through the pro-Trump group. The driver has been charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
One man suffered two broken legs, and a woman was moderately injured, Orange County Sheriff's officials said. It was the second time since Thursday that Southern California protesters have been injured by a vehicle and it's just the latest vehicle attack of dozens that have been reported since nationwide protests began in May.But while experts see a rise in vehicle attacks coming from right-wing extremists, police say the driver in Saturday's incident was a member of the so-called "Caravan for Justice," which organized the Black Lives Matter protest.
The alleged assault happened during a protest called by the Urban Organizers Coalition to "rise against police BRUTALITY, social injustice, and systemic RACISM," a flyer ahead of the event proclaimed.
ABC News with more on the woman charged:
It was after a dispersal order was given that a woman, identified as Tatiana Turner, drove through a group of protesters, many waving Trump flags, outside the Yorba Linda Public Library at about 3 p.m. local time. Two people, a man and a woman, were hit by the car, with both suffering "major injuries." Both are expected to survive, officials said.
Orange County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Dennis Breckner told Los Angeles ABC station KABC the woman struck by the vehicle broke both her legs. The white sedan was pursued by dozens of protesters who smashed several of the car's windows before she was detained by law enforcement. Dozens of deputies were on hand for the two protests, which had been scheduled for weeks.
Turner, 40, of Long Beach, was charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon and was booked into Orange County Jail.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department identified Turner as a member of the "Caravan for Justice" event.Another person at the event, Jason Mancuso, 46, was arrested on charges of failure to obey the dispersal order, the sheriff's office said.
The incident Saturday came two days after a person was hit by a pickup truck at a protest in Hollywood. Protesters surrounded the truck Thursday night after which it tried to get away from the situation and hit a person in the street, the Los Angeles Police Department said. The person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Let's hope these charges stick.
This woman should have the book thrown at her.
