How do you boil a frog alive?
You turn the heat up ever so slowly.
Eventually the frog will sit in the water and not even jump out because he can't notice the water getting to a lethal temperature.
And then?
Frog legs for dinner.
Sadly, I fear that is what's happening in America.
How in the world did we ever get to the point where an Ohio mom would be tased an arrested in the stands of her son's junior high football game?
For what crime you ask?
Not wearing a mask.
How did we get here?
Do you remember back in April when it was "two weeks to flatten the curve"?
[temperature in the pot goes up a bit]
We all agreed with that.
We all bought in.
Yes, don't overwhelm the hospitals, we all agreed!
Get more ventilators!
Well, happy 6 month anniversary of "two weeks to flatten the curve".
Then it was "just stay home for a bit."
[temperature in the pot goes up a bit]
Then it was "just wear a mask".
[temperature in the pot goes up a bit]
Then it was "just wear a mask and stay 6 feet away from people at all times."
[temperature in the pot goes up a bit]
Now it is seemingly morphed from "flatten the curve" to "save every life."
We all did NOT buy in to that.
Life is dangerous.
Sadly, we all take risks living our lives and going out into the world each day.
But we either continue to live or we give up.
Because where are we now?
A mother was just TASED in the stands of a junior high football game for sitting peacefully in the stands far away from everyone except her family….but not wearing the Almight Mask.
OUTDOORS folks!
[temperature in the pot goes up a lot more…..frog boiling]
I'm just going to come out and say it.
I don't think they EVER want us to get rid of the masks.
I think they want them PERMANENT.
And before you realize they've changed the goalposts on you YET AGAIN it will be too late.
Mark it down folks, you heard it from me, Noah, first.
Because there is no other way to explain this attrocity:

CBS News reported on the incident:
A woman attending a school football game in Ohio was tased and arrested after she refused to put on a mask, the Logan Police Department said in a press release Thursday.
Video captured by another adult at the game shows the woman struggling with an officer on the metal bleachers as he tries to handcuff her. That's when he uses a taser on her, shocking onlookers.
The Logan Police Department said School Resource Officer Chris Smith was at 7th and 8th grade football games at Logan High School stadium on Wednesday, and that one of his duties was to ensure fans were safe and complying with health guidelines.
"One of these policy guidelines mandated by the Logan Hocking School District is that all spectators must wear a mask while on school property," the department's statement reads.
When Smith told a woman in the stands, later identified as Alecia D. Kitts, that she needed to put on a mask, she said she had asthma and was not going to put it on. The officer told Kitts "several times" that she needed to wear a mask, saying if she didn't, she would be asked to leave and wait outside the stadium, according to the police statement.
After Kitts continued to refuse, Smith said she would be escorted off the property and citied for trespassing.
"After several attempts to get her to leave, Officer Smith advised her she was under arrest for criminal trespassing and asked her to place her hands behind her back multiple times and she refused," the police statement reads. "Officer Smith attempted to place her hand behind her back, the female began resisting by pulling away from the Officer and another female began interfering with the arrest."
"Officer Smith advised her to comply or he would deploy his Taser if she did not quit resisting," the statement continues. The video shows two other people near the woman as she is tased while in the bleachers.
Smith tased Kitts once, on her shoulder area, and he handcuffed her. Video shows her continuing to struggle with Smith as they walked down the bleachers. Another person behind the camera can be heard asking where her mask is, and Kitts is seen yelling back.
The Police Department has released a self-serving statement:

PRESS RELEASE
On September 23rd at approximately 5:30 P.M. School Resource Officer Chris Smith was working a special duty detail at the Logan High School Stadium for the 7th and 8th grade football games. The special duty assignment was requested by the Logan Hocking School District to help ensure the safety of the fans and athletes during their inside and outside sporting events.
One of the duties of the assignment is to ensure fans and are complying with CDC, Ohio Health Department, Ohio Athletic Association and Logan Hocking School District policy rules and guidelines. One of these policy guidelines mandated by the Logan Hocking School District is that all spectators must wear a mask while on school property.
Officer Smith was walking in the stadium and observed a female sitting in the stands without a mask, he approached the female and advised her she needed to put her mask on as required by the school policy. The female advised that she had asthma and was not going to put it on. Officer Smith advised the female several times that she needed to put her mask on, and that if she did not, she would be asked to leave and would have wait outside the stadium. The female continually refused his request and Officer Smith advised her that if she refused to leave, she would be cited for trespassing and escorted off the property.
After several attempts to get her to leave, Officer Smith advised her she was under arrest for criminal trespassing and asked her to place her hands behind her back multiple times and she refused. Officer Smith attempted to place her hand behind her back, the female began resisting by pulling away from the Officer and another female began interfering with the arrest. Officer Smith advised her to comply or he would deploy his Taser if she did not quit resisting. She continued to resist, and Officer Smith placed his Taser on her shoulder area and drive stunned her once. He was able to successfully handcuff the female at that time. An additional officer arrived and assisted in walking the female out of the stadium. She continued to try to pull away from the officers while being escorted out of the stadium and had to be placed into the cruiser.
The female initially refused to identify herself. Hocking County Emergency Medical Services was requested and responded to the scene. The female refused treatment.
The female was later identified as Alecia D. Kitts. She was charged with Criminal Trespassing and released at the scene. Additional charges are pending on Mrs. Kitts and another female subject involved in the incident.
It is important to note, the female was not arrested for failing to wear a mask, she was asked to leave the premises for continually violating school policy. Once she refused to leave the premises, she was advised she was under arrest for criminal trespassing, she resisted the arrest, which led to the use of force.
This is an unfortunate incident for everyone involved. The incident remains under investigation
