"The Gov Killed Nana"
This is the message that New Yorkers saw in the sky over Labor Day weekend.
A plane pulling the banner was spotted circling the beaches in New York over Labor Day.
While the media and their allies in the Democrat party attempt to blame Trump for COVID-19, the reality is that blue-states were worse hit than red states.
Many observers blame the Democrats' policies for these failures.
Governor Cuomo, for example, was accused of forcing COVID-positive elderly patients into nursing homes.
This caused the virus to spread like wildfire.
The elderly are the most suscepible to the disease.
New York has been the hardest hit by the Chinese virus.
If it weren't for Cuomo's alleged policies regarding nursing homes, the state would have performed much better.
And grandma and grandpa might be alive.
See clips of the airplane banner below:
President Trump claimed a few weeks ago that New York was "in play."
New York is a notoriously liberal state.
But the reaction of the crowd suggests that President Trump is right: New York could truly be in play.
Multiple reports suggest that the crowds on the beach began CHEERING and "going crazy" as the "Gov Killed Nana" banner flew over the beaches.
According to the New York Post:
New York beachgoers were greeted with what appears to be a grim anti-Cuomo banner in the sky Saturday.
“THE GOV KILLED NANA,” read the banner carried on a propeller plane that flew across New York City and Long Island beaches, according to accounts on social media.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been widely criticized for his handling of the state-regulated nursing homes, where at least 6,447 New Yorkers died during the health crisis.
One Rockaway beachgoer told The Post the plane flew by around 4 p.m. as observers stopped to take pictures and applauded the message.
“The people were going crazy,” the beachgoer said. “[Cuomo] is nothing but a liar, condescending and miserable person. His carelessness caused the death of a lot of people unnecessarily.”
Rich Azzopardi, a spokesman for the governor, said the stunt could only come from “conspiracy nuts.”
“Everyone knows this governor has worked day in and day out to protect all New Yorkers and that’s why these sad politically motivated lies always land with a thud and I have no comment on how conspiracy nuts want to waste their money,” he said in a statement.
The media likes to hail Governor Cuomo as a hero.
But the American people are waking up to his failures in New York.
We all know that New York was hit very hard by COVID-19.
But multiple reports and studies suggest that the nursing home death count in New York was UNDERCOUNTED.
If true, then that means that this disaster in NY was even worse than currently believed!
Local 101 Wins has More details on the plane banner as well as the nursing home death count:
A small plane pulling a banner that read “THE GOV KILLED NANA” flew over at least one New York City beach on Saturday, videos posted to social media show.
A beachgoer told the New York Post the message-bearing plane flew over Rockaway Beach around 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The message appeared to refer to Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who has faced criticism for the state’s handling of COVID-19 outbreaks in nursing homes.
In March, the state issued an executive order requiring nursing homes not to deny residents’ admission or readmission “solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19.”
Cuomo reversed the controversial order on May 10, but the state’s official nursing home death toll had surpassed 6,600 as of mid-August, and that toll may have been an undercount, the Associated Press previously reported.
The governor’s senior advisor, Rich Azzopardi, told the New York Post the plane was likely chartered by “conspiracy nuts.”
While they may try to deride critics as "conspiracy nuts," the numbers speak for themselves.
New York got hit the hardest.
And the policy failures can be attributed to Governor Cuomo critics claim, especially when it comes to nursing home deaths.
