The left is once again race-baiting and distorting history.
Joe Biden in his visit to Kenosha, Wisconsin is quoted saying “why in God’s name don’t we teach history in history classes? A black man invented the light bulb, not a white guy named Edison.”
Biden is totally off his rocker!
The black man Biden was referring to was actually Lewis Latimer and he didn’t invent the light bulb he improved the filament inside of the light bulb.

Joe Biden on Thursday said that a black man created the light bulb, ‘not a white guy named Edison’ during a speech while in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Biden made the remark at the Grace Lutheran Church while speaking with community leaders after a private meeting with the family of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old father who was shot seven times in front of his children this month.
Historians have traditionally credited Edison with creating the light bulb in 1879, which was patented in 1880.
Lewis Howard Latimer of Chelsea, Massachusetts, joined Edison’s lab in 1884 after becoming a skilled inventor and draftsman in the post-Civil War era.
Latimer, who wrote ‘Incandescent Electric Lighting: A Practical Description of the Edison System’ in 1890, was the one who made carbon filaments for light bulbs.
Biden literally came out of his basement just to fulfill his Marxist agenda to try to rewrite history.

Biden made his speech at a community discussion at Grace Lutheran Church in Kenosha.
The event included small business owners, civic leaders, police chiefs, and residents.
Before his light bulb claim, the presidential candidate made a promise for the future.
“I cannot guarantee everything gets solved in four years, but I guarantee you one thing, it will be a whole heck of a lot better,” he said, referring to racial injustice.
“We will move a lot further down the road.”
Biden then questioned: “Why in God’s name don’t we teach history in history classes?
“A black man invented the light bulb. Not a white guy named Edison.
“Okay. There’s so much. Did anybody know?”
Joe Biden really gave a false fun fact and looked 100% confident while doing it.
Maybe Biden should study some history while he’s hiding in his basement.
