Nancy Pelosi Goes Too Far, Labels Trump and Congressional Republicans ‘Enemies of the State.’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may have finally gone off the deep end, as she has just labeled President Donald Trump and Republicans 'enemies of the State.'

Nancy Pelosi is desperate to prevent President Donald Trump from winning re-election this November.

She is so desperate that she can no longer hide the wickedness of her own personality.

During an interview with MSNBC on Monday, Pelosi let the cat out of the bag after being asked about the integrity of the general election.

She falsely responded by claiming that Trump is trying to scare people from voting in the election by using law enforcement at the polls, and welcoming Russian interference.

She also referred to Trump and his Republican allies as “enemies of the State.”

You have got to be kidding me…

Nancy Pelosi just used some of the most dangerous rhetoric I’ve heard anyone use in a very long time, with the intention of proving that Trump is the one trying to scare people…

Here's more details on Pelosi's unhinged comments from the Washington Examiner:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated she believes President Trump and his Republican allies are trying to decrease voter turnout in the general election, characterizing them as "enemies of the state."

The escalation in rhetoric, which the White House criticized, came during a Monday interview with MSNBC host Ayman Mohyeldin who asked Pelosi if she thinks the public need not be concerned about the integrity of the general election that is just over 70 days away.

"Thank you for the opportunity to say. One thing I’ll say to the American people: Do not pay any attention to Donald Trump. It is his goal to scare people from voting, to intimidate them by saying he’s going to have law enforcement people at the polls, to welcome, in fact, Russian intervention into our election," Pelosi responded.

The California Democrat claimed the president, and his Republican allies in Congress, want a lower voter turnout in the November election, alluding to Trump's remarks that he intends to employ law enforcement to monitor voting during the election. "We don’t agonize, we organize," Pelosi said.

"We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. And sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and our honoring our Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., with their allies in the Congress of the United States," she continued, adding "diminishing the role of the Postal Service" makes them "enemies of the state."

In a statement to the Washington Examiner, White House spokesman Judson Deere called Pelosi's comments "offensive and nonsensical."

"Her bizarre, baseless conspiracy theories are harmful to our democracy. President Trump is focused on ensuring a fair election as he continues to lead this Nation safely out of this global pandemic, bringing the country together with a message focused on American greatness and a safe and prosperous future for all," Deere added.

These comments made by Speaker Pelosi should be considered dangerous at any 'normal' moment in time in American politics.

The fact that she said this during a time of intense political, social, and racial unrest, is extremely irresponsible.

This is the most dangerous kind of political rhetoric used at the most dangerous time.

Democrats have been fanning the flames of violence since Donald Trump was elected president.

For 4 years, Democrat leaders have pushed this kind of rhetoric, and now just a few months away from the election, they have gone way too far.

God help every one of us in the coming months.

This is so completely out of control, and people are likely to be hurt because of it.

The mainstream media, who jump at every chance they get to disect everything President Trump says until they can turn it into something negative, is largely ignoring the House speaker's vicious words.

National Review has more on the media silence:

The mainstream press has so far ignored House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to label Congressional Republicans and members of the Trump Administration “enemies of the state,” despite providing wall-to-wall coverage of President Trump’s use of the term “the enemy of the American People” to describe the press in 2017.

Pelosi, appearing Monday with Ayman Mohyeldin of MSNBC, said that Republicans were “enemies of the state” during a discussion over election security amid a Congressional debate over additional funding for the Postal Service. Trump has repeatedly claimed that the November election could be “rigged” and crippled by “fraud” ahead of an expected surge in mailed ballots.

“We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.  And, sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and honoring our Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with their allies in the Congress of the United States,” she stated.

Republicans immediately denounced the remarks. “I was shot because of this kind of unhinged rhetoric,” House Republican Whip Steve Scalise warned. Representative Dan Crenshaw (R., Texas) said the comments were “gross and divisive,” while Senator Kelly Loeffler called them “absolutely appalling.”

But so far, the allegation of treason, leveled by the highest ranking House Democrat against her colleagues, has only been picked up by Fox News, the New York Post, and other conservative outlets. Politico’s heralded “Playbook,” which curates the day’s stories, didn’t mention the incident. CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post, NBC News, and others in the mainstream have also failed to provide coverage. The same outlets devoted countless news reports and opinion columns to Trump’s use of similar rhetoric — albeit against the media and not his political opposition — in 2017.
