Michelle Obama Complains That White People Don’t Pay Enough Attention to Her

Seriously... That's what she said.

Michelle Obama apparently thinks very highly of herself, so much that she can’t handle when people don’t immediately recognize her.

On her podcast, Mrs. Obama complained that while she was out in public during her time as First lady, white people didn’t recognize or acknowledge her.

Obviously, this is because she’s black, or at least she claims that is the reason.

What is a former First Lady to do when she doesn’t recieve the adoration that she expects?

…Complain about it on her podcast of course.

Here's the tragic story as reported by the New York Post.

Former first lady Michelle Obama said on her podcast Thursday that “white America” acts like black women — including herself — don’t exist.

“When I’ve been completely incognito, during the eight years in the White House, walking the dogs on the canal, people will come up and pet my dogs, but will not look me in the eye. They don’t know it’s me,” the former first lady said in “The Michelle Obama Podcast.”

“What white folks don’t understand, it’s like that is so telling of how white America views people who are not like them. You know, we don’t exist. And when we do exist, we exist as a threat. And that, that’s exhausting,” Obama continued.

“What the white community doesn’t understand about being a person of color in this nation is that there are daily slights, in our workplaces where people talk over you, or people don’t even see you,” she said in the episode, which also featured pals Danielle Pemberton-Heard, Kelly Dibble and Dr. Sharon Malone.

Poor Michelle...

It must be so hard walking your dogs in public without people worshipping the ground behind you as you pass by.

This is one the most tone deaf, self-centered, and arrogant statements a First Lady of the United States has made, perhaps ever.

Has Michelle forgotten the large percentage of white Americans who voted her husband into the presidency?

has she forgotten the liberal white women who revered her as some kind of "queen" while she lived in the White House?

Here's the story in Mrs. Obama's own words from the Blaze:

Former first lady Michelle Obama said on her podcast Thursday that white America views black people as invisible — unless they're seeing those black people as a threat, according to the New York Post.

Obama recalled times when she was in public and treated with disrespect because when she wasn't surrounded by Secret Service, white people didn't pay her any attention.

"We were stopping to get ice cream, and I had told the Secret Service to stand back because we were trying to be normal, trying to go in," Obama said. "When I'm just a black woman, I notice that white people don't even see me. … I'm standing there with two little black girls, another black female adult, they're in soccer uniforms. And a white woman cuts right in front of us to order. Like, she didn't even see us.

"All she saw was a black person, or a group of black people, or maybe she didn't even see that," Obama concluded. "Because we were that invisible."

It sure seems to me that Michelle is making broad assumptions based on skin color.

How does she know what the lady who cut in front of her saw or didn't see?

Certainly she doesn't believe she is the only one who has ever had somewhat cut her off in line before?

It's clear Michelle, much like her husband, is absolutely starved for attention.

Victim mentality skyrocketed during her husband's tenure as president, and that is not surprising considering the Obamas love to play victims themselves.

Despite becoming rich and famous beyond most Americans' wildest dreams due to the American people who voted them into the White House, it's still not enough for them.

They won't stop until people bow before them.

Good luck with that.
