Donald Trump Jr. Shows Instagram Warning that “Account May Be Deleted” Due to Previous Posts

Donald Trump Jr. has claimed that Instagram has threatened to delete his account.

Jr. posted a screenshot warning that “Your Account May Be Deleted” due to previous posts that the president’s son published.

Of course, this isn’t a surprise or shock to any conservative.

Many conservatives have long believed that social media giants such as Twitter have been openly biased against conservative voices.

Now, it appears that not even the president’s son is off limits.

Will President Trump himself be next?

See the screenshot that Don Jr. shared below:

Of course, the problem is that many mainstream or "common sense" conservative view points are now considered "hate speech" by the radical left, many of whom control these social media giants.

Another problem is that so-called "fact checkers" appear to be on the left-leaning side of the spectrum.

The Sun has more details on Donald Trump Jr.'s claim:

The president's son posted a screenshot of an apparent warning a user received from Instagram, which is owned by Facebook.

The message shared by Trump Jr indicates that four of the Instagram user in question's posts have been deleted between June 1 and July 5 because it was believed to have "harmful false information."

His post on the app also includes two screenshots of CNN article headlines: one from April 11 that says President Donald Trump is "wrong in so many ways about hydroxychloroquine studies," and a second from July 2 that states "Study finds hydroxychloroquine helped coronavirus patients survive better."

"The censorship is real and it continues," Trump Jr wrote. "Instagram is taking down posts about people comparing the CNN headlines about Hydroxychloroquine."

"These are actual headlines from CNN, but because it doesn’t fit the narrative the social media masters are going to make sure that no one actually hears the truth."

Trump Jr said he sees it in his "numbers especially on Twitter these days where my engagement magically went way down in the last few weeks."

"There is nothing they won’t do to manipulate the truth and facts to suit their ends. This is how they’re going to try to sway the 2020 election. Don’t let then (sic) get away with it."

Trump has promoted hydroxychloroquine as a safe drug to take for coronavirus, and revealed that he had taken the drug preemptively against infection.

President Trump won in 2016 thanks in large part to social media.

Through social media platforms, Trump was able to speak directly to the American people without having to go through the biased filter of the media.

Now, however, social media giants appear to be openly silencing conservative voices.

Ironically, the posts in question are screenshots of CNN's headlines.

Many conservatives are mocking Instagram's flag on Don Jr.'s account.

Are they inadvertantly admitting that CNN is "fake news?"

The Post Millennial confirms that these Instagram posts in question are screenshots of CNN healines:

The information deemed "false" by Instagram is actually a pair of conflicting headlines from CNN regarding the effectiveness of Hydroxychloroquine in treating COVID-19.

Despite initial reports from CNN criticizing the president for praising the drug, even they had to come around and admit that it had proven highly effective in treating the virus in some lab studies.

It's the latest example of the Big Tech sword of Damocles that hangs above the head of prominent conservatives with massive online followings. Despite Trump Jr. posting headlines from what is considered a "reliable news source" in CNN, Trump was given a strike on an Instagram account with a huge following of 3.1 million.

"The censorship is real and it continues. Instagram is taking down posts about people comparing the CNN headlines about Hydroxychloroquine," said Trump in an Instagram post. "These are actual headlines from CNN, but because it doesn’t fit the narrative the social media masters are going to make sure that no one actually hears the truth. I see it in my numbers especially on Twitter these days where my engagement magically went way down in the last few weeks. There is nothing they won’t do to manipulate the truth and facts to suit their ends. This is how they’re going to try to sway the 2020 election. Don't let them get away with it."

Social media companies are supposed to be platforms for free speech.

However, more and more they're appearing to behave like publishers that selectively permit (or "edit") what can and can't be published.

And as many observers have pointed out, conservatives and Republicans seem to be picked on more than their liberal counterparts.
