Trump Administration Declassifies Full Susan Rice Email Sent on Inauguration Day

In 2017, Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice claimed that she knew NOTHING about anyone in the Trump administration being caught up in surveillance.

She also denied knowing that names were unmasked.

But now… new evidence clearly suggests that she was lying.

The Trump administration has declassified the full Susan Rice email sent on President Trump's inauguration day.

An image of the declassified email below:

The email Susan Rice sent describes a January 5, 1017 Obval Office meeting within the Obama administration about Michael Flynn and allegations of Russian interference.

This is clearly contrary to Rice's previous claims that she knew nothing about spying or unmasking.

According to Politico, Rice sent the email to herself:

On the day of President Donald Trump’s inauguration, outgoing national security adviser Susan Rice sent herself an email that has since drawn intense scrutiny from Republicans.

Now the full text of the email has been declassified, and POLITICO reviewed it. It says that then-FBI Director James Comey worried about sharing classified information with the Trump team because of incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn’s frequent conversations with the Russian ambassador but that Comey had no knowledge of Flynn sharing classified information with the envoy.

Republicans have seized on the document as potential evidence that the outgoing president had ordered the FBI to spy on the new administration, as Trump has alleged. And they have raised questions about the "unusual" nature of Rice memorializing the conversation in an email to herself, suggesting that in warning Comey to proceed "by the book," Obama was implying that top law enforcement officials had done the opposite. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Rice said it shows the Obama administration handled the Flynn situation appropriately.

[...]

The email, which memorialized the meeting two weeks after it happened, said Obama wanted to be sure “every aspect of this issue is handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities ‘by the book.’”

“The president stressed that he is not asking about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective,” the email continued. “He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book.”

The newly declassified portion describes Comey’s response.

“Director Comey affirmed that he is proceeding ‘by the book’ as it relates to law enforcement,” Rice wrote. “From a national security perspective, Comey said he does have some concerns that incoming NSA Flynn is speaking frequently with Russian Ambassador Kislyak. Comey said that could be an issue as it relates to sharing sensitive information. President Obama asked if Comey was saying that the NSC should not pass sensitive information related to Russia to Flynn. Comey replied ‘potentially.’ He added that he has no indication thus far that Flynn has passed classified information to Kislyak, but he noted that ‘the level of communication is unusual.’ The President asked Comey to inform him if anything changes in the next few weeks that should affect how we share classified information with the incoming team. Comey said that he would.”

This is the SECOND declassified document in a week that happens to mention Joe Biden's name.

The first document was from the National Security Agency last week. It was a list that revealed Obama administration officials who made unmasking requests regarding General Flynn.

Furthermore, Rice's own team confirmed to Fox News that she was directed by the Obama White House Counsel to write the January 20, 2017 memo that documented the Oval Office meeting about General Michael Flynn.

This is also more evidence that Comey had NO "indication" that Flynn colluded with the Russians.

According to the National Review:

In a newly declassified email that Susan Rice sent to herself on January 20, 2017, the former national-security adviser said that former FBI director James Comey had “no indication” that Michael Flynn had passed along classified information to Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, but stipulated that Comey was nevertheless wary about sharing sensitive information with Flynn because of the frequency of his contact with Kislyak.

The document, reportedly declassified by acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, says that Comey said he was “proceeding ‘by the book’ as it relates to law enforcement,” and that he had “concerns” that Flynn, Trump’s former national-security adviser, was “speaking frequently” with Kislyak.

Flynn and Kislyak spoke five times in December 2016 after President Obama signed an executive order that announced sanctions against Russia for trying to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. In the calls, which were monitored by the FBI, Flynn told the Russian ambassador not to escalate tensions, which Russia agreed to.

“President Obama asked if Comey was saying that the NSC should not pass sensitive information related to Russia to Flynn. Comey replied ‘potentially,’” the email reads. “He added that he has no indication thus far that Flynn has passed classified information to Kislyak, but he noted that ‘the level of communication is unusual.’”

As more and more evidence is declassified and released, there appears to be more evidence of high-level corruption within the Obama administration.

There was no reason to investigate General Flynn, let alone accuse President Trump of colluding with the Russians.

And this Susan Rice email suggests that she knew exactly that.
