It has not been a good week for Adam Schiff…
At all.
First, Trey Gowdy threatened to reveal the names of news reporters who "aided and abetted" Schiff in the Russian collusion hoax.
Gowdy appeared on Hannity on Friday night and hinted that CNN and Politico were at least 2 news organizations where reporters colluded with Schiff.
Specific names of reporters are expected to be revealed by Gowdy in the upcoming days or weeks.
Now, Tucker Carlson has called for "Sociopath" Adam Schiff to resign over his role in the Russia investigation.
Carlson warned viewers that Schiff will do or say anything in order to get more power.
Specifically, Carlson slammed Schiff for claiming that he had damning evidence of Russian collusion, when the reality was that he didn't have a single shred of evidence.
Schiff knowingly went on news networks proclaiming that he had proof of Russian collusion…
But the problem is that those claims of proof never materialized.
Yes, it appears that Schiff LIED about having evidence even as he presided over the Russia investigations.
And that's exaclty why Tucker Carlson called for him to resign in a fiery monologue.
Watch it below:
While President Trump was focused on Making America Great Again, Democrats and their allies in the media were focused on removing a duly elected president from office.
Before the impeachment scam, Democrats accused Trump of colluding with the Russians in order to win the 2016 election.
Adam Schiff claimed multiple times that he had first-hand evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians.
However, that evidence never materialized.
Fox News has more on Tucker Carlson calling out "sociopath" Adam Schiff for the lies, calling for his resignation:
Tucker Carlson blasted the Washington establishment Friday night for getting bogged down in the Russia investigation for three years and ignoring other important issues that have come to light as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
"Issues like the dangerous rise of Chinese global dominance, the porousness of our domestic borders, this country's crumbling infrastructure, government corruption and incompetence," Carlson said on "Tucker Carlson Tonight." "We're talking about all of this. Over the past two months, you may have asked yourself, 'Why weren't we talking about these things before? They're important.' Well, it's a good question, and there's a simple answer to it."The answer is, we didn't have time. There was no time to consider the fundamental health of America because we were busy talking about Russia," Carlson went on. "In Washington, Russia is all we talked about for three years. All normal business in the capital city came to a halt as we embarked on a bizarre scavenger hunt in search of Vladimir Putin's spies."
[...]Carlson blasted Schiff for his role in the investigation and his defiance, calling on him to resign.
"Adam Schiff is a sociopath. He will do or say anything to achieve power. He is unfit to hold office. He should resign," Carlson said. "And not just Adam Schiff. The entire apparatus of official Washington has been exposed by these transcripts as well as by the documents just released in the Michael Flynn case."
Indeed, each subsequent piece of evidence suggests that Democrats lied and that Trump associates were "set up" to take the fall.
General Michael Flynn is just the latest example.
Before President Trump was even inaugurated, Democrats appeared to prioritize undermining him as president.
Even as the COVID-19 pandemic rages on from coast to coast, Democrats are launching investigations into Trump's handling of the pandemic... AS the pandemic is happening!
No wonder Tucker Carlson is sick of Adam Schiff and his colleagues undermining the president!
And it all started with the claim of Russia collusion.
According to the Washington Times:
The conservative commentator and host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” said during his show’s latest episode that the California Democrat and chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence should step down following the release of transcripts from closed-door interviews conducted as part of the panel’s investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 U.S. presidential race.
Mr. Carlson said the transcripts showed several witnesses testifying that they had not personally seen any evidence of Mr. Trump’s election campaign colluding with Russia, but that Mr. Schiff claimed to the contrary that there was clear and ample evidence of a conspiracy.
Carlson didn't make these claims without any evidence.
The Washington Examiner confirms that Carlson showed a 30-second video compilation that had multiple clips of Schiff claiming that he had direct evidence of collusion:
Carlson showed a 30-second video montage of Schiff suggesting he had "evidence" of collusion between Russian officials and the Trump administration. The Fox News host added that it was "fairly obvious at the time if you were following closely" because the Democrat never produced the evidence he promised. Carlson argued he failed to show proof of collusion because there was none.
