Hereeee we go again!
Another liberal Hollywood celebrity wants to lecture the rest of us about his knowledge on politics and how he knows best.
Singer Richard Marx slammed President Trump, stating “I’d rather have Jeffrey Dahmer than Donald Trump.”
Dahmer is a serial killer and sex offender who committed the murder and dismemberment of at least 17 men and boys.
Marx continued to slam Trump, saying that he is “a despicable piece of trash.”
The attacks come as President Trump attempts to unify the country in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently, the administration is coordinating with states to safely phase into the opening of the economy.
More details on Marx’s outlandish claims below:
That's right: Richard Marx would rather have a serial killer and sex offender as president of the United States.
Talk about Trump derangement syndrome!
Marx made the comments during an interview with Variety magazine, where he emphaszied that he's unapologetic for his political views:
His feelings about Bush “pale in comparison to the anger I feel over this presidency. I feel this guy is a despicable piece of trash. The country will recover, even if he’s in for another four years. We will recover, but we will never be the same. He will leave a s— stain on this country for the next generation. He has no redeeming qualities.”
Marx says he’s found people trying to pointing redemptive elements of the administration out to him, such as unemployment rates being lower among African Americans. “What people don’t know is that they are brainwashed, especially when you point out that black unemployment is only 1% lower than it was when Obama’s term in office ended,” Marx says.
“At this point, I’d rather have Jeffrey Dahmer over Donald Trump,” he adds.
He’s not entirely thrilled with Joe Biden being the Democratic candidate — even though he wasn’t thrilled about Bernie Sanders, either — but to Marx, at least Biden is a decent human being: “He’s smart and compassionate.”
But he and Fuentes know when to strike that balance and when they’ve had enough fill of the day’s news. If they’re not meditating or scrolling through Instagram, he can be found performing snippets of songs on his social media pages, or putting on mini-concerts in the series “Beachin’” every Friday for his fans. “I did Car Songs where I jammed to other people’s songs in my car, and this was an extension of that.”
Hollywood liberals have long been critical of Republican presidents and politicians.
Indeed, President Bush was lambasted over the Iraq War, but no Republican president has received the amount of raw hatred that Trump has.
Yet, despite all the vile things thrown his way, President Trump prioritized the lives and livelihoods of the American people.
Many people took to Twitter to express their disgust with Marx's comments.
Marx was best known for his hits in the 80s.
His two largest hits were Right Here Waiting and Now and Forever.
Breitbart confirms that Marx would rather have a serial killer as president and calls Trump supporters "brainwashed":
Give Grammy-winning singer Richard Marx the choice between Jeffrey Dahmer and Donald Trump, the 80s hitmaker says he’d rather have the dead serial killer as president.
“I feel this guy is a despicable piece of trash,” Marx said of President Trump (not Dahmer) in an interview with Variety. “The country will recover, even if he’s in for another four years. We will recover, but we will never be the same. He will leave a s— stain on this country for the next generation. He has no redeeming qualities.”
As for those Americans who support President Trump, “they are brainwashed,” Marx says, “especially when you point out that black unemployment is only 1% lower than it was when Obama’s term in office ended.”
“At this point, I’d rather have Jeffrey Dahmer over Donald Trump,” The singer said.
Anti-Trump screeds are constant on Marx’s Twitter feed. But he told the outlet that it was only after George W. Bush beat Al Gore that he became passionate for politics.
“It started when Bush lost the popular vote against Gore,” Marx says. “I still feel Bush should have been charged with war crimes. I never thought he was a traitor. I thought he was dumb but I never thought he was a vile human being.” How he feels about Bush, he says, pales “in comparison to the anger I feel over this presidency.”
Be careful what you wish for, Marx!
You may not agree with President Trump's policies, but he is not a serial killer!
Trump still maintains a steady approval rating, as Americans agree with his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as his economic response.
Though Biden currently leads in polling in swing states, so did Hillary!
Hoping for a serial killer for president is no joking matter.
