Go get em, Candace!
Now that Joe Biden is the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is once again the face of the radical left-wing.
If Bernie Sanders has lit the torch that yearns from Democratic socialism, then AOC seems poised to bring radicalism to America…
But not if Candace Owens has anything to say about it!
The conservative commentator, who recently announced she is running for political office, held nothing back when attacking AOC’s radical politics on Twitter.
In a firestorm of tweets, Owens declared: “You’re a racist, radical communist that wants to expand government control and dependency.”
This comes after AOC has claimed that the novel coronavirus is racist because it hits black and brown communities the hardest.
See the epic showdown below!
At a time when 26 million Americans are unemployed due to COVID-19, AOC had the audicity to encourage workers to boycott jobs!
Instead, it appears that AOC would rather keep people at home and have them on unemployment.
This would also result in the closure of mom and pop shops all across the country.
The Washington Examiner has more on AOC's callous comments that caught Owens' attention:
Conservative political commentator Candace Owens got involved in a Twitter argument between former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, accusing the New York congresswoman of hypocrisy in her response to the coronavirus.
“Trump has NO PLAN to get people safely back to work,” Ocasio-Cortez said in response to a Sanders tweet criticizing her comments calling for American workers to boycott their jobs. “GOP Govs like Kemp are sending vulnerable workers to die w/ false claims of safety. Trump also pushed an unproven, dangerous treatment as a 'cure' & firing experts who want to vet claims. Last thing you care abt is safety.”“You routinely complain that poverty is the reason that more minorities will die from Covid-19," Owens responded. “But you advocate for a BOYCOTT of employment, thereby impoverishing millions MORE minorities. You’re an intellectual coward that only responds to white people that criticize you.”
“You’re a racist, radical communist that wants to expand government control and dependency— and you are using the plight of minorities to fulfill your sick and twisted goals,” she added.
Ocasio-Cortez said earlier this week that low-income workers should boycott their jobs to protest economic insecurity when national stay-at-home orders are lifted.
This Twitter fued comes just days after a speech by AOC on the legislature floor went viral.
She unironically was bashing the coronavirus stimulus bill, though it was passed by near unanimity in both chambers.
While many states are set to reopen their economies, no businesses are being forced to reopen.
Compare this to the shutdown, when every business with the exception of those deemed essential were forced to shutdown.
Testing is more widespread and people understand the practice of social distancing and healthy hygiene in order to keep themselves safe.
Accordint to CNS News, Owens is livid over Democrat's radical government agenda to improverish and control minorities:
When Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) tweeted that Pres. Trump and Republican governors “are sending vulnerable workers to die w/ false claims of safety,” Blexit leader and conservative commentator Candace Owens sprang to their defense.
On Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez posted the accusation on Twitter in response to a comment by former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders criticizing the congresswoman for calling Americans to boycott work, once they have the chance to return.[...]
Owens, whose Blexit movement seeks to introduce conservative values to urban communities, replied to Ocasio-Cortez, saying that the Democrat’s radical goal is to impoverish and control minorities, making them dependent on government for their survival.
“You’re a racist, radical communist that wants to expand government control and dependency— and you are using the plight of minorities to fulfill your sick and twisted goals,” Owens responded. What’s more, if poverty puts minorities at risk of dying from coronavirus, boycotting work is the last thing they should be doing, Owens writes.
When Owens announced that she was running for political office, she didn't announce which office she would be aiming for.
If she joins the U.S. House of Representatives, she will definitely bring much needed balance to AOC's far-left theatrics!
