DeBlasio’s “Snitch Line” Shut Down After Being Flooded With Resistance By Patriots

Nobody likes a snitch.

And nobody likes a Mayor who sets up a “Snitch Line” asking Americans to call in and rat out their fellow citizens.

The authoritarian far-left Mayors and Governors are really exposing themselves during this corona outbreak and everyone is getting to see just how anti-freedom they are.

Here was the video Mayor DeBlasio originally posted encouraging people to rat out their friends to the Snitch Line:

The NY Post had more details:

If you see someone failing to practice social distancing, rat them out, Mayor Bill de Blasio urged Saturday as part of a new city effort to corral the coronavirus.

“We still know there’s some people who need to get the message. And that means sometimes making sure the enforcement is there to educate people and make clear we’ve got to have social distancing,” Hizzoner said in a video posted to Twitter
To do that, is “simple,” he explained.

Snap a photo of an offending person or crowd, set the location on the image, and text it to 311-692.

“Action will ensue,” de Blasio vowed.

“Sending that photo in is going to help make sure that people are kept apart, and that’s going to stop the disease from spreading. And that’s going to save lives,” he said.

Repeat offenders face fines as high as $1,000 — and that could make the ‘New Squeal’ plan more dangerous than COVID-19.

Pitting stranger vs. stranger with such high stakes “could result in acts of random violence,” warned retired NYPD sergeant Joseph Giacalone.

“Maybe he should be figuring out why he didn’t have enough PPEs for cops and EMS workers,” the ex-sarge said of the mayor.

“I’d rather yell at them,” said out-of-work waiter Edwin Mendoza. “If you take a picture, that could cause a scene … People can hurt you.”

But Chris Colon, 26, works as a hospital clerk, and felt differently.

“With the way thing are now, I would snitch on anybody,” said Colon. “Have you seen how many people died in New York?”

Needless to say, the idea did NOT go over very well and real American patriots took it into their own hands to flood the line with penis pics and Hitler memes.

God bless America!

Look at these hilarious responses:

From the NY Post:

Mayor Bill de Blasio’s critics let him know how they really felt about him ordering New Yorkers to snitch on each other for violating social-distancing rules — by flooding his new tip line with crank complaints including “dick pics” and people flipping the bird, The Post has learned.

Photos of extended middle fingers, the mayor dropping the Staten Island groundhog and news coverage of him going to the gym have all been texted to a special tip line that de Blasio announced Saturday, according to screenshots posted on Twitter.

One user sent the message “We will fight this tyrannical overreach!” to the service and got an automated message that in part said, “Hello, and thank you for texting NYC311.”

“F–k you!” replied @MorganLSchmidt1, along with a meme showing Adolf Hitler and the words “TO THOSE TURNING IN YOUR NEIGHBORS AND LOCAL BUSINESSES — YOU DID THE REICH THING.”

“Start flooding their reporting text numbers with this pics!” the tweet added.

Other profane messages included a photo of a bowl of gummy candies in the shape of male genitaliaand a sign saying “EAT A BAG OF D–KS.”

It was not immediately clear whether any of the posters actually lived in New York City.

A Twitter post comparing Mayor de Blasio to Hitler in response to his call for New Yorkers to report social distancing violations.

An NYPD source said that “dick pic” photos of real penises have also been texted to 311, and a caller phoned in a tip that de Blasio was seen performing oral sex on someone “in an alleyway behind a 7-11” early Sunday.

“He looked at me…and coofed in my direction,” the caller said, according to a photo of the 311 operator’s computer screen provided to The Post.

“Coof” is a newly coined term for coughing while infected with the coronavirus, according to the Urban Dictionary website.

The inundation of off-color texts was so large the city had to temporarily shut down the service.
