The story of Landen Hoffman started off tragic but has turned into a tale of a real miracle.
The 5-year-old little boy was tossed off a balcony at a Mall of America by a cruel thug who was “looking for someone to kill” back in April of this year.
Despite falling 40 feet, Hoffman miraculously suffered no head damage and went home months later to begin the recovery process.
Now, 7 months later, Landen’s family says the young boy is “walking perfectly.”

Fox News has more to say about Hoffman's miraculous recovery:
The 5-year-old boy who was thrown from a Mall of America third-floor balcony and survived is "walking perfectly" and could be off his medication soon.
The family of Landen Hoffman gave an update about the boy on a GoFundMe page, saying the open wound on his belly had “finally scabbed over and new skin is growing.”
“Mom has been doing everything she can to speed up the healing of his wound and working toward getting off some of his medications,” the post said.
Hoffman was hospitalized with two broken arms, a broken leg and fractures to his face and skull when Emmanuel Aranda, 24, tossed him about 40 feet during a random attack at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. on April 12.
He was forced to undergo 15 separate medical procedures and surgeries due to the injuries and "severe complications." He returned home months later.
Now, Hoffman said to be enjoying life and is going to kindergarten with his twin brother and sister.
New York Daily Newsalso said the following:
After more than a dozen surgeries and months of recovery, a young boy who survived being tossed from a balcony inside the Mall of America is “now walking perfectly,” an online post says.
Landen Hoffman fell nearly 40 feet after a stranger threw him from the third floor of the Minnesota mega mall on April 19. He suffered severe head trauma and broken bones — which required multiple procedures and inpatient rehabilitation — but doctors said the 5-year-old was just lucky to be alive in wake of the violent incident.
In September, Landen returned home “with a limp and uneven legs from a two-time broken femur” and “an open wound on his belly,” according to a GoFundMe page aimed at raising money for the boy’s recovery.
“Since then he has had many physical therapies to work on his walking. Mom has been doing everything she can to speed up healing of his wound and working toward getting off some of his medications,” according to an update posted yesterday.
“He is now walking PERFECTLY with even legs AMEN. The wound has finally scabbed over and new skin is growing, and we are all still optimistic he will be off some of his medication soon.”
