President Donald Trump's approval rating has reached 52 percent, the highest it has been in almost two years, according to Rasmussen Reports.
Rasmussen's daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows:
- 52 percent approve of Trump's job performance.
- 47 percent disapprove.
- 39 percent strongly approve.
- 39 percent strongly disapprove.
Rasmussen notes this is the highest Trump's approval rating has been since March 6, 2017, about seven weeks after he entered office. Trump has repeatedly touted his ratings from Rasmussen, which are frequently more favorable toward the president than other polling outlets. According to RealClearPolitics, Rasmussen is the only poll that has shown Trump's approval rating at or above 50 percent.
Rasmussen polls 500 likely voters each night on a three-day rolling basis for a full sample of 1,500 likely voters, and a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
