Chris Matthews Reportedly “Livid” Over Mueller Investigation: “How Could They Let Him Off The Hook?”

How could they let Trump off the hook?

I can answer that.

But first you’ll have to step outside of your lefty echo chamber.

Ready?

Imagine this for a second….just imagine, open your mind…..

Imagine that President Trump is a good guy.  A patriot!  A billionaire who gave up his PERFECT and EASY luxurious lifestyle to step into the most hostile environment of all just because he loves America and wants to save it!

A man who has no improper ties to Russia.

A man who only wants to Make AMERICA Great Again!

Now imagine a federal prosecutor given an unlimited budget, over two years, and all the resources of the federal government to dig up ANY dirt on President Trump he could find and he comes up empty.

Is your mind opening up at all?

Because the answer is staring you right in the face:  President Trump is clean!

All he’s ever wanted to do is protect America and make us great again!  Strong again!  Safe again!  A world leader again!

Why Do So Many Politicians Have Bruises Near Their Eyes Recently?

Well, if you’re Chris Matthews from MSNBC, your mind still isn’t opening up.

It seems to have had a major malfuntion.

Take a look:

Here's more, from Fox News:

MSNBC host Chris Matthews expressed outrage on Friday upon hearing reports that Special Counsel Robert Mueller had completed his Russia investigation and submitted it to the attorney general -- with further indictments not expected.

Matthews began his show by summarizing the breaking news, but stressed that Mueller handed his report to the Department of Justice “without ever directly interviewing the president of the United States.”

“That means no charges against the president, his children or his associates after all those meetings with the Russians,” a visibly upset Matthews told his viewers.

The liberal cable news host opened the discussion to the panel, telling them his “biggest question” was “How can the president be pointed to as leading collusion with Russia, aiding a Russian conspiracy to interfere with our elections if none of his henchmen, none of his children, none of his associates have been indicted?”

NBC News national security reporter Ken Dilanian responded by telling Matthews that Trump couldn’t be indicted “in a criminal sense” since Mueller’s office “didn’t have it,” adding that the president “couldn’t conspire with himself.”

“Maybe he missed the boat here,” Matthews responded. “Because we know about the Trump Tower meeting in June 2016, we know about the meeting at the cigar bar with Kilimnik. My God, we know about all of those meetings with Kislyak at the Republican convention in Cleveland. All these dots we’re now to believe don’t connect.”

“Well, that’s the conclusion in front of us,” Dilanian told Matthews. “All of that stuff was suggestive, it didn’t prove anything.”

“Why was there never an interrogation of this president?” Matthews shot back. “We were told for weeks by experts, ‘You cannot deal with an obstruction-of-justice charge or investigation without getting the motive… How could they let Trump off the hook?... He will not be charged with obstruction of justice or collusion without having to sit down with the Special Counsel Mueller and answer his damn questions. How could that happen?”

And from RealClearPolitics:

MSNBC's Chris Matthews said it is "startling" that there were no indictments following the conclusion of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. Matthews questioned why there was no "interrogation" of President Trump following the announcement that Mueller submitted his report to the U.S. Attorney General on Friday.

"Why was there never an interrogation of this president?" Matthews asked. "We were told for weeks by experts, you cannot deal with an obstruction of justice charge or investigation without getting to motive. You cannot get to motive unless you hear it from the person himself who's being targeted, a subject of the investigation."

"How can they let Trump off the hook?" Matthews demanded.

"So far tonight we have no reason to believe Trump is going to be charged by rhetoric in the document itself, in the Mueller report, no he will not be charged with obstruction or collusion without ever having to sit down with the special counsel Mueller and answer his damn questions. How can that happen?" Matthews asked Friday night.

How long till he deletes this from the Internet (from one year ago):

Here's more, from Mediaite:

Chris Matthews went off tonight after Robert Mueller‘s report was filed to Attorney General Bill Barr, repeatedly asking how the investigation could wrap when President Donald Trump never did a direct interview with the special counsel.

As he opened, Matthews asked his panel, “How can the president be pointed to as leading collusion with Russia, aiding a Russian conspiracy to interfere with our elections if none of his henchman, none of his children, none of his associates have been indicted?… If none of them were indicted, how can he be blamed?”

NBC News national security reporter Ken Dilanian said “he cannot be, in a criminal sense,” before noting that Mueller could end up accusing the president of “impeachable offenses.”

At one point Matthews asked, “Why was there never an interrogation of this president? We were told for weeks by experts you cannot deal with an obstruction of justice charge or investigation without getting to motive. You don’t get to motive until you hear from the person himself who’s being targeted… How can they let Trump off the hook? So far tonight, we have no reason to believe Trump is going to be charged by rhetoric in the document itself, in the Mueller report, he will not be charged with obstruction or of collusion, without ever having to sit down with the special counsel and answer his damn questions. How can that happen?”

Dilanian said he could only concluded Trump indicated he would take the fifth and Mueller “decided it wasn’t worth the subpoena fight that would delay his investigation and report for months.”

Minutes later Matthews asked Congressman Joe Neguse how the collusion accusation can be “laid against the president by Mueller if he’s not indicting any of Trump’s people here.”

Neguse said it’s “hard to speculate” until the report comes out, but Matthews jumped in and said, “I’m asking. I’m not speculating. Why didn’t he indict? We were told by a DOJ official tonight there will be no indictments. That means no indictments about collusion. Doesn’t that startle you after all these meetings?”

The congressman said the rationale will likely be detailed in the report and it’s important to see what it says.

Matthews then asked again, “Does it bother you the President of the Unied States, the target of this whole inquiry, was never interviewed?”

Neguse again told Matthews he wants to see the report first.
