Join Us In Praying For President Trump!

I thought it was powerful and wanted to share it here with you.

And ask that you join with us in praying this over the President each day!

That prayer also inspired me to search for some others, and there are a lot of WONDERFUL and POWERFUL prayers out there for our President.

Let me share a few with you.

O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, You who made the heaven and earth and have brought us to such a time as this, hear our prayer. We come to seek Your face and ask Your blessing for the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, his house and all those under his authority. Give Your good Spirit to instruct President and First Lady Melania Trump. Give Your manna for their mouths and water for their thirst. May President Trump bless the LORD Who has given him counsel and instructs his heart in the night seasons. God of Angel Armies, light President Trump's lamp that no darkness can surround him. Keep him, Oh Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve him from violent and deceitful men who have purposed to make his steps stumble. Instruct President Trump, and teach him the way he should go.

Lord God of Israel, guide President Trump with Your eye and order his steps. Give him the tongue of the learned, that he should know how to speak. Give him the gift of the Watchman: the ability to hear Your voice and see into the spiritual realm. Guide President Trump with Your counsel that afterward You will receive him to glory. May Your Word be a lamp to President Trump's feet and a light to his path. Let Your good hand of justice and mercy lead President Trump, and let Your right hand hold him. President Trump's heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps. This also comes from the LORD of Hosts Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. President Trump's ears shall hear a word behind him, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever he turns to the right hand or whenever he turns to the left. Lord God of Israel, You will lead President and Melania Trump in paths they have not known. You make darkness light before them and crooked places straight. These things You will do for President and Melania Trump. You will not forsake them. Thus says the LORD, President Trump's Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD his God, Who teaches him to profit, Who leads him by the way he should go." LORD, guide President Trump continually, and satisfy his soul in drought, and strengthen his bones. Make President Trump like a watered garden and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. There is nothing covered, not enemies, strategies, counsels, or weapons, which will not be revealed to President Trump. The hidden things will be made known to him, including the plans of our enemies and every terrorist plot will be known. His house and this nation will be secure in all things; no word spoken against the United States of America shall prosper. Every plot formulated in the hearts of men to disrupt the security of this nation through manipulation or terrorist attack in America shall be cast down.

God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give to President Trump the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Christ Jesus, become for President Trump wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. As Watchmen we declare the power of the cross and the blood of Jesus over Donald J. Trump, his house and all under his authority. Amen.

And don't forget all of these wonderful moments where Pastors, Cabinet Members and Members of Congress have all taken time to pray for President Trump!

As you pray for President Donald J. Trump, his family, cabinet and administration, do so by agreeing, "… the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us, … Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God" (Romans 8:26-27). 

     As we humble ourselves confessing our dependence yielding to the Holy Spirit we can"therefore come boldly to the throne of grace…” (Hebrews 4:16). As we are reminded in James, “The effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails (accomplishes) much” (James 5:16b).

     With the above confession and confidence in mind here are some practical targets. As you pray depend upon the leading and unction of the Holy Spirit to help you pray this and all that is the will of God. 

#1 – Pray with thanksgiving for already answered prayer for President Trump and how God has truly raised him up (Dan 2:21) and placed him in this position at this pivotal time in our nation’s history. 

#2 - Pray in thanksgiving that God will hear and do what no one on earth can do, understanding that ultimately the hope for America does not lie with who does or does not occupy the White House but with the Lord God Omnipotent who reigns over all and with those who occupy His house, (the church). 

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills- from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth” (Ps 121:1-2). 

“Let God arise, and His enemies be scattered” (Ps 68:1a). 

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” Lk 10:19. 

#3 - Pray for angelic protection over the president, his family, administration and the nation. Pray the blood of Jesus would continually cover him, his family, administration and the nation’s borders. 

#4 - Pray President Trump will have discernment, wisdom, boldness, strength and courage to choose what is right in God’s eyes. Pray he will be a praying man full of the Spirit and will continually have an ear open an attentive to heaven.  

#5 - Pray he would fear God and not men. Pray he will be humble before God and man and be as Jesus commanded, “wise as a serpent and harmless as doves” (Matt 10:16), in all his decisions, relationships and communications.  

#6 - Pray all those around him will be those God has chosen and anyone not will be removed. Pray for godly and wise counselors to surround him and speak into his life and presidency. 

#7 - Pray the president will complete his ordained time in office and without compromise fulfill all God has chosen and written for him to do. Pray he will be a tool in God’s hand to lead America in national repentance from our sins and back to God’s moral standards.

#8 - Pray “no weapon formed against him will prosper” and every tongue that rises in judgment against him will be condemned proven to be wrong. (Is 54:17) Pray Proverbs 5:22 regarding the wicked that their “own iniquities (will) entrap the wicked, and (he/she) is caught in the cords of (their) sin”. 

#9 - Pray for the president as it is written referring to kings, leaders, prophets and believers in Ps 105:15 “Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones…”

(Those God has ordained, called and positioned, etc.)

#10 - Pray Psalm 55:9, “Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues”, (all communication in the natural and spiritual) of all that is slanderous and seditious against the president or God’s purposes for him and this nation. (This includes the media, corrupt politicians and all political propaganda.)

#11 - Pray the president and all of his cabinet members will be delivered from every plot and instead those working against him will fall into what was intended for him (Ps 9:15). Pray that Hamon and all those in league with what he represents will be hung on the gallows built for the president and this nation. (Esther 7:9-10) Pray as in Esther 9:1 that the opposite of what America's enemies have planned will occur. 

“Behold the wicked brings forth iniquity; Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood. He made a pit and dug it out, and has fallen into the ditch which he made. His trouble shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown. I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High” (Ps 7:14-17). 

#12 - Pray for the president and others binding every word curse, witchcraft, judgment, incantation or spell spoken or placed upon him, his family, administration or those around him), releasing him to God’s highest for his life, presidency and the nation. (Matt 16:19)  

#13 - Pray Psalm 140:1-8 below as we have inserted the president or the appropriate pronoun. (Taken from the Passion Translation) 

"Lord, protect (the president, etc.) from the evil one! Rescue (him and our nation) from these violent schemes!

(They) concoct (their) secret strategy to divide and harm others, stirring up trouble one against another. They are known for their sharp rhetoric of poisonous hateful words.

Keep (the president) safe, Lord, out of the reach from these wicked and violent men, and guard (him and our nation) for they have plotted an evil scheme to ruin (him) and bring (him) down. They are proud and insolent; they've set an ambush for (him) in secret.

They are determined to snare (him) in their net like captured prey.

O Lord, you are (our) God and (our) saving strength! (Our) Hero-God, You wrap yourself around (him) to protect (him). For (he and we are) surrounded by Your presence in the day of battle. Lord Yahweh, hear my cry. May my voice move Your heart to show (the president and this nation) mercy. Don't let the wicked triumph over (us), but bring down their every evil strategy to subdue or they will become even more arrogant!” 

#14 - Pray Pro 28:4 that the president will contend for the law (biblical truth) of God, the constitution and laws of the nation. “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but such as keep the law contend with them”. 

·Pray he will be uncompromisingly righteous in his pursuits and free from manipulation or influences that would lead him from biblical and constitutional truth.  

#15 - Pray Isaiah 22:20-23 inserting the president’s name in place of Eliakim. Pray God will use President Trump to close gates previously opened to evil, (ex. abortion; the assault on marriage, gender, the family, etc.), and open gates that will allow God’s rule, righteousness, blessing and favor to come upon the land. Pray the president will be as a ‘peg in a secure place’ and as Eliakim was to be to Israel, likewise President Trump will be as a true father to our nation. 

·As was the case with Shebna in Isaiah 22, pray that all in governmental positions or political office who would abuse their power and are involved in any political corruption be removed from their office or prevented from getting into office. 

“So I will drive you out of your office, and from your position he (I) will pull you down” (Is 22:19).

 #16 - Pray the government will be faithful to fulfill its mandate to punish evil doers as defined in Romans 13:4. "For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil." 

·Should the government fail to fulfill its responsibilities pray that God’s hand and His righteous judgments will be known and prevail against man’s injustices across the land. 

“For when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Let grace be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness; In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord. Lord, when Your hand is lifted up, they will not see (Is 26:9-11).

#17 - Pray as Jesus spoke in Matthew's gospel that what has previously been covered and hidden from the American people will now be revealed and made known for all to see.  

"Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known" (Matt 10:26). 

#18 - Pray the church will awaken and arise during this window of opportunity God has granted. Pray God will send another great spiritual awakening to America and the nations. 

#19 - Pray our nation would receive a 'love for the truth' that America and American's would be saved and that the hearts of even the most hardened to the gospel would be changed by the love of God and the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" (II Peter 3:9).

#20 - Pray that justice and righteousness, (which is the foundation of God's throne) and peace, will again fill this land because the Spirit is poured upon us afresh from on high (Isaiah 32:15-17). Pray God will rewrite His laws upon the hearts of His people across the land. (Hebrews 10:16-17).
