Fox & Friends is one show you can reliably count on to have our President’s back!
From the hosts to the guests, they give President Trump a fair shake.
Perhaps that’s why Trump himself is rumored to frequently tune in.
And today they had a great show, where Brian Kilmeade had a brilliant idea: If the Crooked Dems are going to investigate Trump, he should turn the tables and investigate Schiff and Waters!
Excellent idea!
Here's more on the story, from The Hill:
"Fox & Friends" host Brian Kilmeade asked early Thursday why President Trump doesn't open an investigation into the personal finances of Democratic Reps. Adam Schiff (Calif.) and Rep. Maxine Waters (Calif.), questioning how they got "rich."
"Why not investigate Adam Schiff? Why not investigate Maxine Watters? How did they become rich?" Kilmeade asked judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano.
"Because the Democrats control the Congress and they're not going to investigate their own," Napolitano replied.
"Doesn't the president have an attorney? Why doesn't the president run a private investigation onto Adam Schiff?" Kilmeade asked after some crosstalk.
"Because the president, if he's going to use the power of the government to do anything, has to do it through the [Department of Justice]," Napolitano noted.
Trump and Schiff traded verbal blows on Twitter on Wednesday after the new House Intelligence Committee chairman said he would open an investigation in the president's personal finances and possible ties to Russia.
Schiff stated he would launch an investigation to find out if any of Trump's decisions since becoming president have been compelled by personal financial gain.
“The president’s actions and posture towards Russia during the campaign, transition, and administration have only heightened fears of foreign financial or other leverage over President Trump and underscore the need to determine whether he or those in his administration have acted in service of foreign interests since taking office,” he said in a statement.
Trump said later there is no basis for an investigation.
"He’s just a political hack who’s trying to build a name for himself," the president told reporters at the White House. "It’s just presidential harassment and it’s unfortunate and it really does hurt our country."
Trump reportedly often watches "Fox & Friends" during what has been dubbed "Executive Time" on weekday mornings and has been interviewed on the program on multiple occasions since taking office.
