Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo saved a man suffering from a heart attack Tuesday morning at the Florida Capitol.

“Joseph Ladapo saved a man’s life at the Capitol. The man Tuesday morning suffered a cardiac event in the Capitol Courtyard. Ladapo rushed over, performed chest compressions and stabilized the man using a defibrillator,” said Jason Delgado of Spectrum News 13.

Delgado reported that Ladapo visited the man at the hospital Wednesday.

The man said: “A perfect stranger made a decision to give aid & saved my life. I believe he already has his wings… Again, I thank God for the blessing of continued life and the angel he sent me.”

U.S. federal agencies recently sent a letter to Dr. Ladapo saying his claims about the COVID-19 shot fueled “vaccine hesitancy.”

It was a response to Ladapo’s letter to the Biden administration expressing concerns about adverse effects from the experimental shots.

From The Guardian:

US health agencies have sent a letter to the surgeon general of Florida, warning that his claims about Covid-19 vaccine risks are harmful to the public.

The letter was sent to Joseph Ladapo on Friday by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It was a response to a letter Ladapo wrote to the agencies last month, expressing concerns about what he described as adverse effects from Covid vaccines.

“It is the job of public health officials around the country to protect the lives of the populations they serve, particularly the vulnerable,” said the federal letter, which was signed by the FDA commissioner, Robert Califf, and CDC director, Rochelle Walensky.

“Fueling vaccine hesitancy undermines this effort.”

Ladapo was appointed by the Republican governor of Florida, the prospective Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis, in 2021.

Ladapo has attracted national scrutiny over his close alignment with the governor in opposing Covid vaccine mandates and other health policies embraced by the federal government.

Last year, Ladapo released guidance recommending against Covid vaccinations for healthy children, contradicting federal public health leaders whose advice says all kids should get the shots.

Dr. Joseph Ladapo said in reference to the experimental mRNA COVID-19 shots that he’s “not sure anyone should be taking them.”

“These vaccines have a terrible safety profile,” Ladapo said.

“At this point in the pandemic, I’m not sure anyone should be taking them.”

“I don’t think anyone probably should be taking them. They have a terrible safety profile,” he repeated.

“We have, unfortunately, a CDC and FDA who the most consistent thing they’ve done is deny the truth.”

“Pushing masks, pushing the vaccines in little kids, all these low-value, divisive policies they did,” Ladapo added.
