Amazon Introduces Orwellian Contactless Payment System

Amazon is pushing forward with its ‘palm scanning payment’ system.

With the palm of your hand, you can “pay, enter, or identify yourself” wherever Amazon One is available.

The technology is reportedly popping up in stores now.

“At Whole Foods in San Francisco: Register your palm print and link to your Amazon account for payment,” said independent political commentator Richie Greenberg.

“At checkout – just scan your palm and off you go!”

That looks a creepy biometric nightmare!

As one Twitter user said, “the future is here!”

Yes, a cashless society future that should be avoided.

Is this technology priming people for the ‘Mark of the Beast?’

“Amazon’s Palm Pay is not the Mark of the Beast, but it may be a precursor,” another Twitter user commented.

“Just my speculation.”

Here’s how Amazon describes the technology:

  • Your palm is made up of tiny, distinct features on and below the surface, many that are indiscernible to the human eye or a standard camera.
  • In seconds, a process of proprietary imaging and computer vision algorithms capture and encrypt your palm image.
  • Amazon One uses the information embedded in your palm to create a unique palm signature that it can read each and every time you use it.

How long until this technology is mandatory to purchase groceries?

That’s my question.

According to this KPIX report, Amazon is rolling out this palm-scanning technology nationwide.
