Cheney Crushed in Wyoming Straw Poll, Trump-Backed Challenger Receives 10 Times More Votes

Liz Cheney, much like most democrats this year, is on borrowed time.

Her decision to sell out to Nancy Pelosi and company has not paid dividends according to a new straw poll from the Wyoming Republican State Central Committee.

The poll shows her losing big in the GOP primary to her opponent, Harriet Hageman, who has been endorsed by President Donald Trump.

Hageman received ten times as many votes from the county activists, winning 59 to 6.

Cheney has a reputation among republicans for being the most blatant RINO.

Her days appear to be numbered.

The New York Post has the latest on the poll, which could indicate Cheney’s probable political future:

A House candidate endorsed by former President Donald Trump handily defeated Rep. Liz Cheney in a Republican Party straw poll in Wyoming, according to a report.

Harriet Hageman, whom Trump endorsed in September to challenge Cheney in the Republican primary, won the straw poll conducted by the Wyoming Republican State Central Committee with 59 votes, the Casper Star-Tribune reported on Saturday.

Cheney came in a distant second with six votes.

Our friends at Newsmax shared Hageman’s reaction to the poll:

“I think it’s a good sign, Hageman told the Casper Star-Tribune. “It’s not an endorsement, but these are the county activists.”

Out of the 74 county representatives from Wyoming, only 71 voted, including three of Hageman’s family members. The Star-Tribune noted that the Republican Party of Wyoming cannot endorse candidates for the primary election, which is eight months away.
