Sweden Drops Negative COVID-19 Test Requirement to Enter Country

I’ve bashed Sweden in prior posts for pushing the globalist agenda, which includes the use of digital IDs and microchips.

However, I’ll give the Scandinavian nation credit where it’s due.

Sweden took a positive step to end COVID insanity that still plagues much of the world by dropping their negative test requirement to enter the country.

They recognize the mild omicron variant is too widespread, and redundant restrictions on incoming travelers won’t impact the number of internal cases.

People travelling to Sweden will no longer need to show a negative COVID-19 test result before entering the country.

“Travellers are no longer considered to pose a particular risk of affecting the spread of Omicron in Sweden,” the government said in a statement.

Despite the country introducing the rule back in December, it has repeatedly set new daily Omicron case records.

Sweden has recorded more than 20,000 new daily cases over the past few days, roughly double the previous record from earlier waves. The number of cases has put a strain on healthcare services but not to the same extent as before the vaccine rollout.

The news of Sweden dropping their negative COVID-19 test entry requirement follows reports of England dropping internal COVID-19 measures later this month.
