President Trump Calls Colin Powell A RINO In Brand New Statement

Trump didn’t sugar coat anything in his latest press release.

In Trump’s latest statement he slammed the mainstream media for lauding former Secretary of State Colin Powell as a brave hero

Trump stated that the mainstream media is conveniently hiding the fact that Powell in 2003 before a UN Security Council meeting falsely claimed Iraq had WMDs.

That wasn’t all though, Trump also called Powell a RINO due to the fact he endorsed Biden this year at the DNC.

Trump’s comments come just a day after Powell passed away due to COVID-19 complications despite being fully vaccinated.

ABC 4 News had more on the story:

President Trump lambasted the media on Tuesday for what he said was too-favorable coverage of former Secretary of State Colin Powell after his death on Monday.

“Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media. Hope that happens to me someday,” Trump said in a statement.

Trump called Powell “a classic RINO,” an acronym for “Republican in name only.”“He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace!” Trump added.

Trump throughout his time in office criticized Powell and other architects of the Iraq War, including former President George W. Bush, for whom Powell served as secretary of State.

Powell, in building international support for the invasion of Iraq, presented faulty intelligence to the United Nations that claimed that then-Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.

President Trump is just reminding the world the truth about Powell’s involvement behind the Iraq war which costs thousands of US soldiers lives.

However the mainstream media wants people to believe Powell was a true patriot and not a pawn for the CIA.
