Did Biden Just Send New “PALLETS of Cash” To The Taliban?

Remember during Obama’s reign of terror, those horrible eight years from 2008 to 2016 when he suddenly airlifted pallets of cash to Iran?

I do.

The Hill had more details on that shameful Obama cash payment:

Said the president in part, “Iran’s hostilities substantially increased after the foolish Iran nuclear deal was signed in 2013 and they were given $150 billion, not to mention $1.8 billion in cash. … Then, Iran went on a terror spree, funded by the money from the deal and created hell in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Iraq. The missiles fired last night at us and our allies were paid for with the funds made available by the last administration.”

As we have seen and heard, some — especially Democrats, their allies in the media and Obama supporters — chose to challenge or quibble with Trump’s statement. That said, I spoke with a former senior intelligence official who said that much of the $1.8 billion cash payoff from the Obama administration was used explicitly to fund terrorism as an additional “screw you” from the leaders of Iran — including Soleimani — to the United States. The rest of the money, my source believes, ended up in the bank accounts of corrupt Iranian leaders and terrorists.

The cash payment authorized by Obama is one of the most disgraceful and shameful “negotiations” in the history of our nation. It was a payment the Obama White House first denied, then ignored and then grudgingly acknowledged.

We paid in cash, but not U.S. currency. Wary of using U.S. bills for a variety of reasons involving concealment, the Obama White House had the money converted to untraceable Euros, Swiss francs, and other foreign currencies. More troubling than those initial denials and deceptions was the fact that $400 million of that all-cash payment was used to pay a ransom to the government of Iran for the release of four American prisoners, in violation of standing U.S. policy.

That should have been reason enough to impeach and remove that treasonous President!

But now with Joe Biden we have Obama 2.0 and of course that means Cash Payment 2.0.

Right on time, after giving away $85 billion in our military gear (not including Helicopters and planes), Biden has now ramped things up by straight up giving pallets of cash.

Here’s the latest on the breaking story, from former DNI chief Richard Grenell himself:

Wondering how much that is?

$7 billion.

Here are more details from Fox News on the $7 billion of frozen funds:

The Biden administration froze Afghan government reserves held in U.S. banks on Sunday, blocking the Taliban from accessing billions of dollars shortly after the group seized the capital city of Kabul, leaving the U.S.-backed government in collapse, FOX Business confirmed.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and officials in the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control made the decision, according to The Washington Post, which first reported the news. The State Department was also involved in discussions over the weekend, with White House personnel are monitoring the developments.

“Any Central Bank assets the Afghan government have in the United States will not be made available to the Taliban,” an administration official told FOX Business.

The Afghanistan Central Bank holds total assets of about $10 billion assets – $7 billion of which are stashed with the Federal Reserve Bank in New York. The Taliban on Monday tapped Haji Mohammad Idris as acting governor of the bank to help restore the nation’s war-crippled economy, with government workers unpaid, businesses closed and the growing cost of necessities like food and fuel.

The move – which is designed to cut off the Taliban from billions of dollars in U.S.-based reserves – is the first in a number of critical decisions facing the Biden administration as it grapples with the Taliban’s return to power.

Afghanistan, already one of the poorest countries in the world, is heavily dependent on American aid.

Asked last week what actions the U.S. intends to take to ensure the safety of women in Afghanistan, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said “there are obviously issues related to sanctions.” He declined to elaborate further.

“I want to be able to have our team communicate directly to the Taliban both what the costs and disincentives are for certain types of action and what our expectations are,” Sullivan said.

Want to see the cash for yourself?

Here you go, just watch it right here on Rumble folks:

And before anyone says “we don’t know the details behind what is shown in the video” I have this for you.

Here is former DNI Chief Richard Grenell himself posting the video to his Twitter and showing all the weapons and pallets of cash given over to the Taliban.

See it for yourself:

Here’s more from Kyle Becker’s reporting:

In addition to the huge cash piles that are documented to be left behind in Afghanistan, there are tens of billions of dollars in U.S. military weaponry and equipment that were left in country after President Biden’s hasty exit from Afghanistan.

“The Taliban now has access to $85 billion worth of American military equipment and the biometric data of the Afghans who have assisted soldiers over the past 20 years, a Republican congressman has warned,” the Telegraph reports.

“Jim Banks, a former US Navy reservist, said that the vast amount of hardware left behind includes 75,000 vehicles, 200 airplanes and helicopters and 600,000 small arms and light weapons,” the report added.

“The Taliban now has more Black Hawk helicopters than 85 per cent of the countries in the world,” Banks said in a speech in Washington.

Meanwhile, the U.S. has held secret meetings with the Taliban in an effort to guarantee the stranded Americans safe passage, the Washington Post revealed in late August.

“CIA Director William J. Burns held a secret meeting Monday in Kabul with the Taliban’s de facto leader, Abdul Ghani Baradar, in the highest-level face-to-face encounter between the Taliban and the Biden administration since the militants seized the Afghan capital, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive diplomacy,” the Post reported.

“President Biden dispatched his top spy, a veteran of the Foreign Service and the most decorated diplomat in his Cabinet, amid a frantic effort to evacuate people from Kabul international airport in what Biden has called ‘one of the largest, most difficult airlifts in history’.”

“The CIA declined to comment on the Taliban meeting, but the discussions are likely to have involved an impending Aug. 31 deadline for the U.S. military to conclude its airlift of U.S. citizens and Afghan allies,” the Post added.

The Biden administration has thus far failed to move the Taliban on extending the August 31 deadline to evacuate all Americans out of Afghanistan. The Taliban leaders have warned of “consequences” if the United States cannot conduct all evacuation and extraction missions by that deadline.

The secret CIA meetings with the Taliban show that President Biden, who was vice president under former President Obama, is continuing his predecessor’s track record of negotiating with Islamist terror states. The most famous example came in 2016, when the Obama administration sent Iran pallets of cash.

“The Obama administration is acknowledging its transfer of $1.7 billion to Iran earlier this year was made entirely in cash, using non-U.S. currency,” the New York Post reported. The cash transfer came amid the release of U.S. hostages from Iran.

“The Obama administration quietly shipped $400 million stacked on wooden pallets in an unmarked plane to Iran in January — just as Tehran was releasing four Americans who had been detained there, according to a report,” the Post reported.

The Biden White House has surpassed even his precessor in terms of capitulation to an Islamist regime. The administration has turned over lists of Americans’ and Afghan allies’ names to the Taliban, even as ISIS-K terrorists are carrying out suicide bomb attacks that have killed Americans.

President Biden is obviously willing to negotiate with terrorists. Now that he has stranded thousands of Americans in harm’s way in a collapsing terror state — he may have no longer have a choice.
