Trump/Owens 2024? Candance Owens Asks President Trump If She Could Be His VP, Trump Responds

Candace Owens recently interviewed President Trump and released a snippet of the interview.

The interview started off with Candace asking President Trump “Are you going to run in 2024 and if so, can I be your Vice President?”.

President Trump graciously answered, “wow what a good choice that would be” and said that Candace would be “fantastic”.

To be honest, it looked like Candace was just throwing her name in the hat to make the interview extra interesting but could she really be Trump’s Vice President?

Well currently Candace is 32 years old and by the time 2024 hits she will be 35 which is the minimum age requirement you have to be in order to be Vice President.

So it’s possible but right now people are speculating Trump will choose DeSantis, Pompeo, or Noem.

Trump also teased a 2024 run in the interview too:

The Daily Mail had more details to add to the story:

Donald Trump on Tuesday teased his 2024 presidential run in a new interview with Candace Owens and sat for dinner with Ted Cruz to plot how the Republicans would retake the House and Senate in the 2022 midterms.

The former president told conservative commentator Owens to ‘stay tuned’ when asked whether he would make another bid for the White House.

He also touted his new website, ‘From the Desk of Donald J. Trump’, and slammed the treatment of wife Melania since they left the White House.

The interview aired while Trump dined with Texas Senator Cruz at Mar-a-Lago before his move to his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, for the summer.

‘He’s in great spirits! We spent the evening talking about working together to re-take the House & Senate in 2022,’ Cruz tweeted.

‘As you know, it’s very early,’ Trump said about his potential White House run during his phone interview with The Candace Owens Show, which was released on the Daily Wire website Tuesday night.

‘But I think people are going to be very, very happy when I make a certain announcement.’

The Independent added to the story too:

Ms Owens, a supporter of the former president, asked if she was also a contender for replacing former vice president Mike Pence, if Mr Trump runs in 2024.

“What a good choice that would be. That would be fantastic. You would be fantastic,” Mr Trump said.

In the wide-ranging interview – which airs on Candace on Tuesday at 9 pm– the former president also offered remarks about Republican senator Mitt Romney, who was booed at a convention at the weekend.

Mr Trump said the senator for Utah, and a critic, was “phony”, according to The Hill.
