Psaki Dodges Questions from Reporter About Video of Smugglers Dropping Toddlers From Border Wall

Psaki declined to commit to any added border security despite the horrifying video.

Once again, the Biden administration is proving that they do not care about the current crisis at the border.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris pretend it doesn’t exist.

Meanwhile, press secretary Jen Psaki still refuses to answer the tough questions.

When pressed about a video showing smugglers droping toddlers over the 14 foot high border wall, Psaki turned the question around on Fox reporter Peter Doocy, who she appears to have a personal vendetta against.

Psaki questioned whether Doocy actually cared about the children at all:

“Are you concerned more about the kids’ safety, or are you concerned about kids getting in? (or) Tell me more about your concern here.”

She refused to commit to more security at the border.

This is not a good look for this administration…

The New York Post has more on the White House's lack of commitment to increasing border security:

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Thursday refused to ensure that the Biden administration would step up security at the US-Mexico border, as she was grilled about disturbing video of smugglers dropping kids over a 14-foot wall in New Mexico.

The clip, tweeted Wednesday by a border patrol agent, shows two little girls, aged 5 and 3, being dropped over the barrier by smugglers in the dead of night, before the kids were rescued by authorities.

“I’ve seen the video, and I think any of us who saw the video were incredibly alarmed by the steps of smugglers, ones that we have been quite familiar with,” said Psaki during her daily press briefing.

But pressed on what steps the Biden administration is taking to prevent a repeat of the potentially deadly tactic, Psaki questioned the motives of the reporter who posed the question, Fox News’ Peter Doocy.

“Are you concerned more about the kids’ safety, or are you concerned about kids getting in?” she asked. “Tell me more about your concern.”

Informed by Doocy that he was asking about the children’s safety, and that Psaki had indicated that is the White House’s main concern, Psaki said, “Of course it is. Which is why I’m often surprised by some of the line of questioning here.

Psaki was pressed by Fox's Peter Doocy over the terrifying video of smugglers dropping toddlers over the border wall.

Her response was less-than-stellar, as instead of directly responding, she instead took to questioning Doocy's motives behind the inquiry.

Ultimately, she declined to comment on whether or not Biden would commit to more border security.

Psaki is not endearing herself to reporters or anyone else lately.

Even Chris Wallace criticized Psaki and the Biden administration for not being forthcoming with the American people on the current border crisis:

Fox News has more:

Fox News' Chris Wallace ripped White House press secretary Jen Psaki over the administration's media policies after outlets including CNN criticized the Biden administration to denying the press access to the border.

"Just last week we had a pool camera providing footage to Fox News just last week into the shelters. We want to provide access into the Border Patrol facilities. We are mindful of the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic. We want to keep these kids safe," Psaki told "Fox News Sunday." "We are absolutely committed to transparency and providing access to media ... and we're working to get that done as soon as we can."

"At this point, in allowing access to border patrol facilities for reporters, you are being less transparent than the Trump administration," Wallace said.

"The Trump administration was turning away kids at the border and sending them back on the treacherous journey, or they were ripping kids from the arms of their parents. We're not doing that. We are committed to allowing cameras into the border patrol facilities, absolutely," Psaki said, despite a report that Biden Homeland Security officials had "muzzled" spokespersons and top agents to prevent them from speaking with the press.

As for the Biden-Harris administration, it's clear that they aren't taking this situation seriously.

They still won't even visit the border.

I suppose their new slogan should be:

"See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil."
