The man was skating with the Trump 2024 flag to protest against Mayor de Blasio’s decision to close the Trump Organization’s Central Park ice-skating rink early.

A man was captured on camera defiantly waving a “TRUMP 2024” flag while skating on the Trump-run ice rink in Central Park Saturday — after Mayor Bill de Blasio announced he’d shutter the rink early to put the freeze on the former president.
The President Donald Trump-booster was seen unfurling the massive red-and-blue flag in Woolman Rink on Saturday — a day before Hizzoner was set to close it along with the park’s popular Lasker Rink, footage shows.
“You know this is really a good finale for it to close tomorrow,” a teenager who shot footage of the flag-waver can be heard saying — as another onlooker shouts “whooo!”
The apparent protester’s name wasn’t immediately clear on Sunday.

Fox News shared these details on de Blasio ended Trump’s contracts with NYC:
Skaters arriving at Central Park’s two ice rinks are in for a cold awakening next week — the rinks, which are both managed by the Trump Organization, are being shuttered by City Hall to punish the former president for the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riot, The Post has learned.
The Trump Organization says its last day of operating the iconic Wollman Rink and the smaller Lasker Rink at the park’s northern end will be Sunday.
The rink contracts had been set to expire in April, but Mayor de Blasio has moved to ice Trump out a month early, effective Feb. 26.
