Yet another House seat is going to the Republicans.
Democrat Christy Smith just conceded California’s 25th district to Republican Mike Garcia.
This was a rematch from 2019 after Garcia defeated Smith in a special election.
Republicans have held very strong in the House during this election cycle.
In a statement, Smith said: “With final votes counted in this race, it’s clear we will not be able to close the 339-vote gap.”
